I own 3 sets of Forclaz 900 pants, the oldest one has been cut into a pair of shorts, while the other two continue with full lenght duties. All in all these are the best VFM and quality pants out there for outdoor wear. Specially in Mumbai and other humid places the quick dry offers cooling and comfort, while cycling or biking or any walking/trekking activity.
The only problem is that they are available in one color Black/Grey combo. Wish Quecha could offers them in colors like Army Green or Dark Blue. Reply
Chose this for EBC trek. Excellent fitting and tough to survive in rough use. Easy to dry. Great value for money. Highly recommend for trekers, hikers and casual walkers too. Reply
I can clearly say one of "BEST PANTS for ROUGH USE". I have been personally using this pants for more than year on various tough conditions & These pants prove best in all possible ways 1. Good Breathable 2. Dries Fast 3. Good against thorns & sharp edges
4. Good Streachablity 5. Lightweight.

I used it for difficult treks with rough and uneven terrain, pant has survived well, thanks to its stretchable property.
Walking in bushes and thorns, i got scratches and cut on my leg but no cut on pant.
Zip in all pockets secures all my stuff there even if i slip or fell while trekking.
I use extra pocket on right side to dump wrappers of used food items like chocolates, cakes, biscuits. It is at my hand's length.
Quick dry property is very useful during monsoon treks. This means, no need to carry a back up pant. Reduction in backpack weight.
It is comfortable, looks cool, with the different colored patches.
The only problem i faced is while walking around without my shoes, the buttons gets pressed between ground and my sole causing little discomfort.
I have not used the belt much as i got the right fitting.
I strongly recommend it for all trekkers and non-trekkers. Good value for money. Reply
A very comfortable trekking trousers. Used it for 3 days of hiking. Quick dry works well Reply
Thank you for expressing your feedback on the Forclaz 900 pants. We are truly sorry you've had this negative experience with the product. The zips and pockets are heat-sealed so as to avoid a seam on the inside of the fabric (and thereby making it a little more comfortable). In any case, they shouldn't come off like they did for you.
We would like to offer you a new pair of Forclaz 900 pants immediately. Could you please contact us at email@example.com with you details, and we will ship a new one out to you.
We look forward to reading more reviews from you in the future.
The outer pocket and zips on pockets are glued instead of stitched, I got drenched while trekking once and after some time the zips on pockets came off making opening at pockets, which is nothing but opening for the cold air. Not convinced with why the zips are not stitched.

I bought the Quechua Forclaz 900 trekking boots to climb Stok Kangri, a 6120 metre mountain in Ladakh. The boots were everything I hoped they would be. They gave me a firm grip and ankle support on steep gradients and all kinds of terrain – rock, scree and slush. I walked through streams and no water entered the boots. When the outer layer of the boot got wet, it dried quickly. I also had to make a choice – whether to attempt the summit in my Forclaz boots or use specialised snow shoes – Koflach. I decided to go for it in my Forclaz because they were much lighter than the snow shoes and would be easier to walk in. My feet were cold but when I got back to base camp I removed my boots to find that my feet were completely dry. No snow or water had entered the boots despite the long exposure to heavy snow. And most importantly, despite breaking them in for only about 10 kilometres before the trek, I didn’t have a single blister. Reply
