It's a nice handy pump. Unlike the longer pumps you can attach it to the bottle holder nuts and can still have a bottle holder fixed on top of it. You can very easily pump till 80-90 psi, if you push further you can go beyond it, but I bought it only to be used as a light weight emergency pump.

The to and fro motion of the piston is very smooth and it has provision to oil it for future maintenance. Overall a nice pump which your small money can buy.
Powerful!

Used for 2 to 8 weeks
Was sold this as my cheap 'ebay' pump wasnt getting about 40 psi. Only used once and it got my tyre to 80 psi with no massive effort! :-)
Good PSI top end
Not fit for purpose ...
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
Bought this for my son to use, we both got punctures on the same piece of road on a 75 mile trip. I used my old mini pump to pump up my tyres with no problem. He was having issues, I tried with the Btwin pump and had the same issues. You cannot "lock" the pump onto the valve (as with most other mini pumps), so found it impossible to get any pressure into the tyre. Ended up using my mini pump, will returm this as it is not fit for purpose ...
Lightweight - but that's it
Cannot lock onto valve
Response of the brand
Dear sir,
Thank you for your feedback regarding this pump.  This model is now end of line and has been discontinued by b'twin as some other customers have had the same experience as yourself.
We now stock the SKS raceday pump as well as the zefal XL which are excellent pumps for road use.

Used for 1 week or less
This is not a bad wee pump I topped up my tyres from about 80 psi to about 100 + psi without any problem. How ever as other reviewers have pointed out the mount provided is useless. I took the precaution of using my own velcro strap to prevent it falling out . On the first outing it still slipped vetrically down through the holders and was mashed on the chain rings. I returned it and got my £9.99 back
size, design
Bike mount does not hold pump it slips down
Response of the brand
Hello,
I'm sorry to read that the pump fell out of the bracket.  I agree that an adapted and decent strap is needed to hold it in place.  I have forwarded this on to the product manager.
My apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Great pump, rubbish bracket
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
I bought this recently and whilst the pump works very well, the bracket which holds this on to the bike has nothing to keep the pump attached if it is inadvertently knocked or jolted out if you hit a pothole or large bump. Went out on a ride at the weekend, the pump was there at the beginning of the ride but wasn't at the end, and unfortunately I didn't notice at the time it fell off. I now need to buy a replacement.
Pump works very well
Bracket has no velcro or other suitable fastner
Response of the brand
Dear sir,
I'm sorry to read that the pump came off the bracket.  Other customers have made the same comment and I have forwarded these onto the product manager at b'Twin.
I will forward your feedback to the product manager today.
I think that the addition of a small velcro strap would suffice.
No need for you to buy a replacement, I will send you a new pump.  I would suggest the following: http://www.decathlon.co.uk/air-profile-xl-alloy-mini-bike-pump-id_8248184.html
Please reply to me with your details and I will arrange this.
Looking forward to hearing from you.

mini pump that works!
Initially dubious as there is no clamp to hold it onto the valve, but this pump is fantastic. Don't bother clamping to your bike, stick it in a jersey pocket. First mini pump that I've seen that can reach a proper psi. Snap one up, especially as its half price at the moment, wow!

Disappointed in product
My pump fell out when going over a bump, this caused some scratches and chips to the pump. I hav'nt actually used the pump yet although I have tried, so far I have resorted to my old pump to top up the tyre pressures
Nice looking design
Slips out of clip when riding over a bump or rough
Response of the brand
Dear Sir,

I'm sorry to read that the bracket for the pump did not perform.

I have decided to pass on your comments to our design team.

There may be a fault with the clip therefore if you wish you may return the product to your nearest Decathlon store to obtain a replacement.

I don't know how good this pump is!
This pump looked really good, and the assistant in the store said that it was really good and able to go up to 100psi +, which is what I needed for my new road bike. He fitted it for me.
Unfortunately, it is so sleek that it slid out of the bracket after 20 miles, falling under the back wheel and having the handle squashed in the process. I have been unable to get the handle suitably open to slide unhindered over the body of the pump. The solution? Another pump with a more secure bracket.
Small, light and sleek
Disappeared
Response of the brand
Hi Adam,

I'm really sorry for your experience with the Btwin MNP 500 pump.

If you are to return the pump to the store you are covered by our Satisfied or Satisfied guarantee as it sounds like a genuine fault with the clip.

Our returns are closely monitored for product quality issues, but I will also pass on details of your experience to the product design team that works on bike pumps.

Kind regards,

Excellent pump
Works great for it's small compact size.

Looks good enough to keep clamped to the bike.
