Two of us built the gym in around 3 hours. Can be done by one person but easier with two. The instructions were relatively easy to follow however if you are not used to following flat pack type instructions it may be tricky. The gym itself is really good and well worth the money. It has a higher maximum user weight than some in the same price bracket so is suitable for most people. It also has an height adjustable seat so can comfortably accommodate me at 6ft 2.
The only gripe I have is with the Decathlon on-line shopping service.
I ordered the gym through their on-line collect in store service in the knowledge that they had 3 in stock at the Sheffield branch. I thought than one of those units would be allocated and I would be able to pick it up more or less straight away. This wasn't the case and a date of 2 days after was allocated for collection and I was advised that an email would be sent when ready. No email arrived on the allocated collection day so I called the store the day after to be told there had been a computer system problem and delivery to store would be the following day. I waited a couple of days but no email. When I rung the store again they said that the gym had arrived but there was a part missing and it would be another 4 days before this would arrive. On asking why I couldn't just have one that was in stock they gave me the usual "that isn't possible because blah blah blah". At that point I cancelled the order and asked for a refund. 45 mins later I bought one in store...... Decathlon were lucky I wanted this particular gym as I could have easily gone elsewhere...... In summary the Gym is pretty ace but Decathlon need to look at their stock allocation/distribution processes.

I'm really enjoying using this gym equipment and my only regret is I didn't buy it earlier. I'm much more likely to exercise when the equipment is in the house rather than having to travel to the gym. I feel that I'm getting a lot more value than from a gym membership and it's compact in size too.
Compact size with ability to do many exercises
ASSEMBLY WENT SMOOTHLY HOWEVER ALLOW FOR AROUND 4TO 5 HRS AND THE NEED TO HAVE A SECOND PERSON ON HAND FOR SOME OF THE STEPS
INSTRUCTIONS AND ITEMS ALL MARKED
WEIGHTS NOT ALL IN SAME BOXES
I looked a number of compact gyms as a Christmas present for my son. Although he is only 8 once he expressed an interest in getting one I suddenly saw an opportunity.
Ordering was easy and straightforward but the process was let down slightly by receiving an email saying my order had been cancelled as I hadn’t collected it. However, I’d called both customer services and the store to advice that I was out the country and could not collect it in 5 days. Once I did get to collect it the staff were helpful although they took a while to find it in the stockroom.
As it was going on an upper floor I unboxed it in the hall and took it upstairs in batches. My son was away for the night so it was an ideal opportunity to build it. We’d told him it was too big and heavy for Santa’s sleigh so it was likely the elves would delivery it early. Oh, the innocence of children.
As others have said the bolts are all clearly labelled and shrink-wrapped on card which makes it easy to identify each component. I felt some of the instructions could have been clearer particularly the frame for the net covering. Overall it took me almost 4 hours.
There are a few disappointments. The first is the exercise guide. It shows some basic exercises but it could be a lot better. There is also a piece of cable which is slightly longer than the one on the lower pulley but there is no explanation on when to use it. Another irritation are the screws on the leg pivot. They make it rather uncomfortable to use the leg extension. Finally, the chest press pivot is a bit strange. If you don’t tighten it, then it is loose and slightly wobbles but if you do tighten it it is then too tight and generates friction.
Overall, this is very good value for money but there are a few minor niggles.
Very good value for money
Pivot screws on leg rest cause irritation.
Bought this gym yesterday from decathelon and the staff there took the gym to the check out and then helped me put it in the van (I call this very good customer service)
The gym was heavy as you'd expect so I unpacked it in the hall way to take individual parts to the room where it was to be built. All the bags where labeled, and all the nuts and bolts where heat shrunk to a piece of card board, and the card board was labeled to say which steps the bolts where for, over all it took me and a 9 yr old @between 1 1/2 - 2 hrs to put together and we weren't rushing. The gym went together with out any glitches, I'm very happy with it and for the cost of £200 it feels very sturdy,
Very well designed, easy to follow building guide.
Non that ive found at present
