men or women TREKKING for several days.
A simple, lightweight and functional bag with pockets and easy access. Practical for both occasional hiking and travelling.
The near perfect backpack for 8-9 days trekking. The most lovable feature of this bag is that you can open from top as well as from front side, a rare feature I never found in any other bags. Marerials look very durable. Zips, shoulder pads are okay. The only two things that I didn't like are stitching thread ends are not concealed, which could've been placed in between two layers & the second one is that it is not waterproof. So rain cover is a must buy. I wouldn't have minded had it been waterproof at reasonable higher price for this. I recommend this bag for trekking.
I am a bonafide buyer of this bag. I am yet to use it in my next month's trekking. Please, refer to other reviews before buying as my review is based on look only. I'll edit my review, if needed, after I use it first time for 8 days Himalayan Trekking.
Very comfortable trekking back.
Very comfortable trekking back.
Used it on a couple of treks and travelling on trains. Been less than a year but there is already a tear near the straps. So that is slightly disappointing. Expected it to be more sturdy.
Multiple pockets make it easy to organise things
Built quality could have been better
Thanks for your review on the Forclaz 60 hiking backpack. I understand your disappointment and you would be happy to know that all Quechua backpacks come with a minimum warranty of 2 years against manufacturing faults and defects. I suggest you take the backpack to your nearest Decathlon store for warranty inspection and if the product is faulty, the team would be happy to do an exchange or refund.
Please feel free to get in touch with me in case of any queries.

Very Intresting back pack i got it in 3299 !! I love it
Perfect for a 10 days trip.
Can fit a lot staff. Plenty of pockets. Can be opened in multiple ways. Missing straps to hang things from the bottom. Only drawback, its not waterproof
I love how light and comfortable it is to use, easy to adjust back attachment, and it was the only one I could find that you could completely open the front to access anything anywhere in the bag without having to dig through the bag. However I would have liked to see more pockets and a built in rain cover like on other brands. Also the material it's made from could be a bit thicker/robust.
you can open the whole front of the rucksack
Needs more pockets and a bit flimsy material
I bought this for an 8 day trip to Jordan. I'm 5'3" and managed to set it up to fit me with an arctic sleeping bag strapped to the bottom for sleeping out in the desert. The slim design is great for public transport and the side and top access make getting to things and repacking very easy. The zips appear strong. All in all, it appears so far to be a well thought out bag at a very good price.
Ease of access, slim design, spacious pockets
An excellent sized bag for a week away with an nifty front or top access system that makes living straight out of the bag easy. I also found the slimline design handy for getting on and off the tube and squeezing down the aisles on trains.
The top and side pockets are very spacious and the pack is comfortable when on. The quality appears very good and the bag certainly looks and feels much more expensive than it is.
I wouldn't recommend the bag for trekking as I suspect the big front zips would not be very waterproof, although you could probably purchase a separate rain cover. Some of the more pricey models come with these so I'd probably suggest paying the extra.
The only issue really is that the back system is a bit of a pain to set up initially, but once done you don't have to mess around with it again, and for the price it would be churlish to complain.
Easy to access, plenty of pockets and comfortable
Harness adjustment not particularly slick
I had this as you never had any cheap 45 ltr at the time but I still got to get a 40ltr day pack for mountain work..
not the one I wanted
