Thank you for responding to my review "PANNIER 300 SEAT POST".
Please recommend which of these carriers will fit my BTWIN RIVERSIDE 300 MEN (L)?
"B CLIP CARRIER" OR "PB CLASSIC CARRIER"
NOTE: I ALREADY HAVE TWO "BTWIN CITY BIKE BAGS 300 10L(ITEM 564510)"
it is a good product for rear shock bikes.
a wrong selection on my part
Thank you, for taking the time to review the product and the positive comment for the seat post carrier. Regarding the compatibility of carriers, both the carriers are compatible with your riverside 300. However, with the B clip carrier you have the added advantage of easy clipping various accessories like the basket, baby seat etc. This video should help you understand the various usages of the B clip carrier. I used to commute with a backpack but was getting tired of sore shoulders and a sweaty back.I bought this for my commute to work which is 13 miles each way. I ride a B'Twin Triban 3 and I use a FWE Top Rack Pack to strap onto the rack.
The rack is very easy to attach and detach with the quick release lever which is handy when its not needed. However you do have to tighten quite hard to prevent the rack rotating during use.
As the bar extends straight out (not kinked) it does sit quite high above the real wheel, so therefore my rack bag sits higher than the saddle. The stem could be slightly longer so my bag inn't butting up against the back of my saddle, but this could be due to the nature of my bag and saddle height.
The elastic cables on the top seem a bit pointless.
Compared to other models on the market at nearly double the price, I am very satisfied with it so far.
Easy to attach / detach, Sturdy, good value
could be longer,
Great strong bit of kit used with a bag to commute to work no problems with it
Bought this last week, nice looking, sturdy when mounted, I'd like to see what recommended attachments could work with this (eg. pannier bags) and at the back, there's a space and some holes to attach a rear blinker, although I couldn't find a compatible model from B'TWIN.
Light, easy to install on my hybrid
The integrated bungee cords are not super useful
I don't think this rack is designed for pannier bags although I did manage to fit some small bags which attach to the rack and to my mudguard supports.
Reasonably light weight and easy to remove
