A single speed, simple cycle suited best for urban commuting. Frame and wheels designed for tarmac roads and countryside trails.
A value for money cycle which can be used for daily commute and trails. A cycle with a wide seat, raised handle bars for better posture.
I am using this cycle from last two years continuously and till now I didn't face any single issue.
Very cost effective
smoothness, speed, lightweight, comfort
This is my first bicycle in years. Now, while the bike is fine and does what it is supposed to do, i do have a few niggles here and there. Also, i would have probably loved it better had the bike come with more mmeaty tyres and a bit more fat frames.
While bike is quite comfortable, i do get a weird creaky noise from the front fork and the handle bar seems to wobble a little bit. While this was not quite evidemt while buying, it is quite evident now, and this 15 days after buying and a maximum of 6-7 days' worth of usage. When the store is about 35 km away from ho,e, these niggles are quite annoying. I prefer if decathlon had a workshop of sorts or some network of authorised service places within city limits, this being especially true in case of chennai where the store is quite far off
Comfortable bike for the price it is sold at
The handle bar wobbles a bit
Bike is light with nice handling and less maintanance.
Fitting of the stand.
Cycle is very very comfortable to Ride, for office and local area going with my cycle only. Wait also very less and easy to carry it anywhere.
Like new member to my family, now everyone using h
Please arrange heavy duty carrier so we ride double seat
It is an ideal bike from BtWin for daily leisure/exercise riding. You will love the way it handles. It is sturdy, smooth, light weight. Most importantly it is reasonably priced. Highly recommended.
It is a light weight bike that rides effortlessly
I haven't found any negatives
it's been nearly a week since i got this bike from snapdeal, it was really like unboxing happiness and was early delivery by 3 days.
Packaging was fine, bike was in semi assembled mode, i have to attach front tire, handlebar, and seat and to adjust breaking system, Decathlon have provided a spanner and 5 6 allen key that is enough to assemble this bike.
Unfortunately there is no user guide how to assemble , but u can be helped by youtube video that explain detailed.
Im talled 180 cm and i choosed large size . feel good
the tyre size is printed as 26" x 1.75" whereas their site saying its 26"x 2". but for me on road this is enough.
the seat saddle is not that comfortable for long rides and u have to buy a gel padded seat cover or gel padded cycling shorts
the handlebar grip is though good, better to use a good gloves. im using one
in fact u have to buy accessories in addition are:
1. bike stand
2. bell (if needed)
3. Gel padded saddle cover or cycling shorts
4. good pair of gloves
5. A lock (a must)
6. Air pump ( if u dont have one earlier)
7. Bike light ( for night riders)
8. Mudgurards ( must on rain season)
9. Watter bottle holder
10. Rear bike rack ( for commuters , helpful to carry bags)
when assembling make sure that:
*u have fixed right and left pedal correctly (there is a mark "right" and "left" on both pedal
* when inserting seat and handlbar into post, keep "minmum insertion level" to get smooth biking
i ride this bike on last 3 days , total of 48 Km ,, today a small tik tik sound is hearing form bottom bracket while pedaling. i dont know what to do.
conclude : a good commuter class bike for urban flat roads wtih very few low inclines as this bike has no gear. or u shud be crazy of riding single speed bike even in hilly roads..
go for it
the simplicity of single speed
Thank you for taking the time to give us a detailed review. Glad you liked the bike.
