Frequent training and XC racing
Aluminium XC designed for racing. High-end, reliable and extremely efficient equipment: SRAM X9 / X7 drive train, Mavic Cross Ride wheel.
I ordered the bike online and it got delivered after few day.Due to i was shipped overseas and the box was too big i called the store and asked if thye can help. First i met with Kamil and he gone out his way, he cut a box to make it smaller for me, took the front wheel out and made it half the size. Than i received an email from David Kecskes, he manage to dig up even a smaller box, he continued to dismantle the bike and fit it into a smaller box still. I am way happy about this service, they are eager to help, friendly, cracking up jokes and make you feel right at home, i wish every one can be even half as good as this guys. Thanks a lot decathlon, I am trully impressed
helpfull,knowledgeable stuff, competitve price
Fantastic value looked at many other hard tail bikes and this was a no brainer . Went to buy one and came out with two , if their were more in stock i would have bought 4 . They are that good .
Front Shocks , Gear Mech , Brakes
Photos do not do this bike justice!
Very light with quality components... Just check that the forks have been out on the right way around!
Ver very happy with this purchase; stunning and stands up well against more expensive rivals.
Great value for money. Decent components at this price, the fork was £470 on it's own for example (on chain reaction).
I only have one bike so I put slicks & TT bars on this for road training & commuting. It's quick and responsive, the TT bars obviously give you a good aero position (and a sore neck!).
The bike looks tremendous. Nice colour scheme and graphics. As my mate said, it doesn't look like a Decathlon bike!
One problem for me being a lanky 6 foot 4 plus, is that the bike is probably an inch or so too small. I am considering getting an offset seat post with slightly more length as a result.
I have not used the bike off-road a huge amount but it climbs like a beast and is responsive on the trails.
The frame and forks are light. I will upgrade to lighter wheels, brakes & drivetrain in the future as the fundamentals are good.
Value for money, good features
XL on the small side for me (I'm over 6 foot 4)
At £650 quid its a steal, handles trails brilliantly, comfortable, good components, lightweight - up there with bikes @ around £1000. The few staff that were in the shop were great, but the management is poor and was a right pain getting the bike to work scheme authorized spent about an hour in shop collecting it thought i was going to go home without the bike. Worth the wait though.
Forks, wheels, frame, the whole package
