Used on multiple day hikes, was ok in the dry but I strongly suggest a belt, even if the fit feels ok. Very light weight, very soft fabric, always worn with base layer/Capri leggings and never had an issue with rubbing.
As soon as they get damp, they absorb the water and drop from your waist to your hips. The seams are not waterproof and in the rain I could feel water soaking through to base layer, especially behind the knees. Does dry VERY quickly if you take them off though.
Pockets are useful, but in classic women's fit style as soon as you put anything in the pockets it pulls the fabric quite tight across the thigh.
Not sure what the pink elastic is for on the zip fastener and back pocket.
Personally I think the fit is a little long, and suggest wearing with gaiters if ground is wet.
Absorbs water like a sponge, use with a belt!

The extra small pair will fit a 10. Not a 6. However if i were to shop in the childrens section they'd be too short lengthwise. Would be really nice if i bought a pair of trousers that fitted a petite lady but seems like we never get accomodated for.
sizing, details, price,
sizing is european. would be better if had uk sizing too. had to go up a size to get a better fit - once I did that they were bigger around the waist but had a good fit elsewhere.
good fit, easy wash,
