we brought 3 pairs all have their rubber soles detached from midsoles we tried to stick em back cause we were on a trek but midsoles have perished. Also on wet rocks or concrete there is no grip. our shoes are 3yrs old .our mail to customer care reply was these shoes only last 2yrs buy new shoes.
fit is good all is good till the soles
soles have detached from midsole =DISINTERGRATING
The sole of the shoe has come out, we got no help to fix it, from the store we had bought it.
Not worth the money spent.
Thank you for your review on the Forclaz 600 Men's Hiking Boots.
Would you please provide me more information on the usage and condition of the boots?
Thanks and Regards,

I bought these boots 4 months ago before for a weeklong trip to the remote islands of Scotland, with All types of terrain. Before this I decide to wear them in, first trip was all-terrain 6 miles’ hike, they were waterproof ok, but it felt like wearing a pair of clogs, they just did not give, I have skinny feet, however these where extremely tight on me to such an extent I had to loosen them to get the blood flowing again as my feet where freezing, this resulted in a gap at the top that let water in slightly. I then tried them on a 3-mile beach walk, same result, and finally went on my trip i luckily brought my old boots with me as I just could not cope with these after 4 hours. Soles of my feet ached, top of foot was also aching, no blisters though so they fitted OK.
I think I must have got a dodgy pair of boots as for this price I would have expected so much better and nobody else has reported these issues.
Waterproof, easy to put on and off.
Solid sole, tight uppers, no movement
hey i am a kid that has hiked more den 150 km in these boots and the fit rellly god but you can see theam wearing down. so i am going to get a new pair becuse they are relly god for the price and when i am still growing they are perfect,
relly comfy and is RELLY waterproof
not very pretty
Before I start I have to say I bought these boots for my wife, so this review is "hers".
The boots fitted perfectly and took no breaking in to become comfortable, the sole is good and has a good grip, her last pair of boots caused problems on wet ground with lack of traction. She is really pleased with these boots, bear in mind these boots were bought off the internet, we took advantage of the Decathlon "no quibble" return as we live some distance away from the nearest store. I already have a pair of the previous incarnation of these boots and had no hesitation in recommending them to her. They were also half the price of her last pair (which leaked like a sieve and now she only wears them on the dryest of days, the Forclaz boots will be worn in all weather, rain or shine. These are REALLY GOOD BOOTS.
Good fit and comfortable from the off.
Fantastic pair of boots, well made and fit like a glove. Size 8.
Very Happy with this purchase and would recommend. Price was more than I could afford but Quality does not come cheap.
Comfort, Style and Robust.
Sturdy boots that get a battering and still stay waterproof and comfy. Great on steep and unstable slopes. Stylish too! (Words from my partner!)
I wore this for the first time last week on an 8 hour long climb to Ben Nevis and they were perfect. No blisters or pain at any point, my feet remained dry and warm throughout the whole hike going through heavy rain, snow and even water crossings. Very comfortable and great grip to all surfaces (gravel, grass, snow)
Comfortable, shock absorption, temperature
After trying on in the store and walking up & down the store floor abit I purchased the boots. Having now walked my usual route a few times I feel they may be a tad tight and don't offer the snugness and support (a possible contradiction I know
Threads, laces, style & colour
