Technical Information

1
Sun protection
The fabric flysheet filters UV rays with a SPF of 30. Please note: a significant amount of UV rays can enter through a single open door: protect your skin.
2
Waterproofing
All Quechua tents are laboratory tested: the WHOLE TENT under 200 litres/hour/sqm (200 mm/hour) for 4 hours! as well as in the most. (2000 mm PU-coated polyester fly sheet, 120 g/sqm polyethylene groundsheet, all seams sealed using thermobonded tape). A breathable polyester inner tent under the fly sheet means you aren't in contact with the condensation that forms naturally on the inside of the fly sheet.
3
Storage
1 pocket for storing your belongings 2 storage areas on each side of the bedroom for storing your belongings.
4
Pitching/folding
Classic dome tent assembly: poles set up with the bedroom, then flysheet fixed on top. Reverse movement to take it down.
5
Access
2 straight ZIP side entrances. 2 room "D" shape doors with single zip. No need to climb over your mates on your way out. The entrance doors can be left open, rolled up and attached to the pole.
6
Guarantee
All our tents are guaranteed for 2 years of normal use (your receipt or loyalty card constitutes proof of purchase). In the event of a problem, have your tent checked out in your local Decathlon store. 2-year guarantee. Spare parts and pole repair available at Decathlon workshops.
7
Poles, pegs
Poles: Hollow fibreglass poles (2 diameters Ø 6.9 and 7.9 mm). Tent pegs: 5 mm galvanised steel pegs for good twisting resistance.
8
Wind resistance
We test all of our tents in a wind tunnel with a rotary table to expose each side of the tent to the wind. A properly assembled tent with all the guys in position around the tent should remain habitable under wind speeds of up to 50 km/h at ground level (Force 6)
9
Dimensions and weight, folded dimensions
Bedroom 120 cm wide by 200 cm long. Max. headroom: 121 cm. Cylindrical storage bag: 26 cm diameter/65 cm long. Weight: 3 kg

Product test
QUECHUA tent waterproofing is approved for the whole tent under 200 litres of water/hour/sqm (200 mm of rain per hour) for 4 hours. The water column test (=mm schmerbers) only measures fabric waterproofing. Our test means we can prevent any water getting through the seams, flaps, openings, zips, etc. Wind resistance: We test all of our tents in a wind tunnel and on a rotating plate to expose each side of the tent to the wind. Tested in real conditions.

Stockage tips
Storage: after use or cleaning, do not store your tent until it is perfectly dry to prevent odours and mould from forming.

Reasonable
Ok tent stood up to wet weather. Ties on inner of flysheet that tie to fibreglass poles are ridiculously cheap and extremely nasty. What on earth were your quality control thinking. Previous models had proper velco tags to tie flysheet to poles not ties. The nylon ties are not even hemmed

I bought this tent recently to take it to a festival. The tent is beautiful, spacious, very easy to assemble and fold. It worked very well on a windy and wet night. I am very satisfied with my purchase :-)

Bought as a festival tent for son. Survived 4 days of torrential rain and no leaks. Performed better than pop up types. Reasonable spec and quality for price. Only negatives were the flimsy tie in tags on the inner tent to attach to poles. Better to add sleeving to the inner tent and also additional peg points to fly sheet would be a good idea. To be fair I couldn't compare it with my other tents, quasar, van go,Pheonix phreak or even an ultimate tramp but at the price it's certainly worth a punt.
Good price for a reasonable spec tent.
Tie tags for poles. Should be sleeved
