There was a rip in the seam (before husband even tried them on). The size guide is also incorrect. I had the same issue as Ian. There must be two size guides on the site - small is definitely not big enough for a 30inch waist. Husband has some other small men BTWIN cycling shorts from decathlon and they are much bigger and fit fine - what happened here?
Style is good
I'm sorry that your experience with the shorts has not been positive.
I agree with you that the sizing is not clear enough. More effort needs to be made on our behalf to improve this point.
Generally speaking a 30" waist at Decathlon is M, 32" is "L", 34 is "XL" etc....
Please return them to us for a refund/replacement as the seam coming apart means they are defective.

Had to exchange my original. The customer service over the phone and clear instructions, quick delivery is on par, very good.
The shorts itself has evolved from stringy plastic quad stranglers to hugging comfortable material at the end of the short (as you can see in the pictures). Having big quads, I've finally found a piece of cycling kit that is perfect fitting. When I compliment, you've done your job well! Thank you decathlon.
Comfortable, cheap, good customer service
Would be handy to have elastic on legs
Wash well, comfortable and lightweight
Lack of elastication on legs, don't fit snugly
The size guide states that the size small fit 78cm - 81cm but on arrival the label says 74cm - 77cm and they are too small for my son.
The shorts on the whole look and feel fine for the money, you get what you pay for.
Unable to review how comfortable they are due to the misleading size guide.
The size guide on the website differs to the produ
Sorry to hear that the size isn't suitable for your son. I have had a check on the size guide on our website and it says that the Small is a 74-77.
I have linked the size guide for you.
