The bike is great its lightweight so carrying it down or uphill on bad trails is easy, nice brakes, easy shifter. The bad thing about it is the saddle,it will give you a sore behind,i'd suggest get the saddle replaced with a better one.
Shifter's are simple
I've been using this for a little less than a week now. The gear system took some time getting used to but, since it was well explained at the store, if the guidelines are followed correctly, it works like a charm. The quality of the product is very good as well. I haven't had the product for enough time to get it serviced but, I hope to have a smooth run with the service people when it comes to that.
The only hitch is that the cycle doesn't come with basic accessories. A lock, a bell and a stand could've probably been included as part of the default package.
Otherwise, a fine product.
Lack of basic accessories inclusive of the package
I purchased btwin 340 at great price . Cycle is comfortable, however gear changing is not smooth.Normally I ride in Delhi city ...so do not have to change gear frequently..unless I have to ride on flyovers.
Look is nice..easy to drive
Gear changing is not smooth
It's been 4 months I bought Rockrider 340 from Decathlon, Pune. My daily usage is around ~10kms. The best thing about this bike is it has great look and extremely light weight. It feels awesome while roaming around the city on this bike. The worst thing about this bike is poor gear system. Sometime I switch the gear and it takes 1-2 km to reflect the change. Considering this bike uses Shimano gear kit, gear system is pathetic as Shimano is known for it's best gear kits. Verify gear switching before coming to final conclusion.
Great looks, Light weight
Poor gear switching
Rockrider is cool.
Smooth gear functioning.
I had bought the same bike around two weeks back from Decathlon noida and have been facing issues with gear system. The gears slip on changing making it difficult to peddle for some distance. Pls do a thorough review of the gear before buying yourself one.
