₹ 2,999 Décathlon
I used this for my Chadar winter trek, -15..This worked great over there. Now I started using for all my bike rides. Wow, it perfectly fits for bike ride, as it is stretchable and against wind. Great one.
I was absolutely convinced to buy this product. Only absence of belt loop holds me back. I am short guy, don't want to use suspendors for aesthetic reasons. This is for team decathlon to do the needful.
Well noted, and thank you for taking the time to share this feedback. I will transfer your message to the design team at Simond HQ.

Let me start the review by saying that this is perhaps the most cherished Decathlon product I have used. And there are strong reasons for such an overwhelming start. This trouser is all about those small creature comforts which adds up to provide an ultimate experience in any intense hike/trek. I stand 5 ft 10' tall with waist size 32 & size 'M' fits perfect. The fabric used is stretchable which provides excellent freedom of movement & also accommodates base layer with ease. It also happens to be water repellent which proves to be an important factor while skiing & by chance if water drips through, the fabric dries of quickly. The biggest compliment came from my skiing instructor when he asked me to buy couple of these pants for him whenever I plan my next visit to Auli ski resort. Another big plus is strategically placed pockets, there are total 3 of them (2 regular cross + 1 front) with zip closure. It also feature a built in ankle cover (gaiter like) which can be clamped to the shoe lace with the hook provided & is also removable if not required. This ankle cover is a great help in thick ice. The bottom can be fastened by a Velcro strap. The bottom is also reinforced by an abrasion proof material patch (approx 1ft tall) to avoid any damage from elements, crampons etc. However this pant doesn't have belt loops instead it uses suspenders to hold up itself. It's also relatively heavy but considering the purpose its built for (glacier trekking and cross country skiing) I have absolute no complain. It has a zippered ventilation along the side of thigh but this pant is not an ideal choice in summers. Overall an excellent & highly recommended product by Simond (the company located at the foothills of Mont Blanc :).
A great trouser, see here for full review http://www.succinctgearreviews.com/p/simond-alpinism-pant.html
Great value good materials warm and tough. Worn for a week Ice climbing no issues. Very good trousers for the money.
Wore these for an winter sports holiday in Sweden in January. THey were superb. Fit is excellent, even for telemark skiing and its bending down. I also cross country skied in them and the were comfy. The gaiters have a lace hook which helped keep snow out. The side vents were also good for cooling. I wore them in -19c temperatures, with thin long johns and was very warm and cosy
