Very good quality easy to put up fast delivery exactly the same as the picture
the top screw which you hang the bag chain from isn't a real screw. The grooves around the screw don't spiral like a normal screw but are spaced out evenly and parallel to each other. You can improvise and find some way of getting your bag to hang on the frame but then there's the problem of the frame itself no being able to handle the weight of a bag even with weight plates added on the weight pole. yiu then need bags of sand of something similar to keep both sides of the stand to stay grounded when you're throwing hooks, kicks and elbows. For the price I paid I wasn't expecting the world best boxing frame.. but I can't say I'm not disappointed with the product. It came with a faulty screw (most important one) and the frame it's self is barely functional with the bag on it.
Thanks a lot to let us know your feedback on Free-Standing Punch Bag Stand. I m really afraid to hear your experience building that frame. We don t receive many feedbacks on faulty items but I ll send yours to the product manager in order to avoid future problems with the screws.
Don t forget you can claim a total refund or a product change in your nearest Decathlon Store.
Easy to assemble and sturdy. Very please with this purchase
good item, needs weighting down but otherwise good
The stand was really easy to assemble, but I would recommend that you secure it to the floor. I found the weights di not hold it down enough.
Very sturdy, well made frame. The amount of weight needed to stabilise depends very much on on the strength of the user - an excellent product
Works well. Takes the punchbag well
It's a great bit of kit, but the person taking photos for the website clearly didn't read the instructions. Photo 6 shows a pair of top hat fittings the wrong way out and no thread in the nyloc nut. That's dangerous and at some point your bag will come off.
Sturdy, easy to assemble
The photos on the website are wrong
I took a risk and bought this over the Everlast stand and I am so glad I did. It's about £60 cheaper and it is a good, sturdy stand. My son hits it very hard so we've had to put a lot of weight on it to keep it from moving about but there's a pole to put the round weights on. Very happy with it and would definitely recommend. Be aware that it takes up a lot of room.
Easy to build
Needs a lot of weight to keep it steady
Bought this for myself to relieve stress. Fits well in my garage and very easy to assemble. Cheapest one I could find but very well made.
cost. well made
