Bought these shoes 6 months ago in France in Alps for rock climbing and thought the were super slippy even on dry rocks. On return have used a number of times indoor but again no grip for anything other than big foot holds. Have gone back to old climbing shoes with hole in toe for indoor and will have to buy new ones for next outdoor sesh! So ok for beginners if never had any rock climbing shoes as better than trainers but only because of shape ie stiffness. The actually rubber is so hard that it offers no grip and just slips. you get what you pay for - invest another 20 in some shoes with better grip
These fit great, really comfortable from the first wear, make crags really easy to stick to
Good price and quality and vary comfy. I am using them for indoor climbing and so far I am satisfied.
Comfy and good quality.
Not so far
I have had these shoes for about 3 months and they are perfect for a beginner. They are comfortable but can still be used for balancing on a small piece of rock on a climbing wall.
However, they are showing signs of distress already and my next pair of shoes will probably be from a better known brand, that will allow me to channel my inner spider-monkey a bit more.
I used them once, they are comfortable and seem quite resistant. I am satisfied with their quality and price.
I must admit that this review might not be the of big gravity since this is my first pair of climbing shoes but I would like to contribute my opinion of them after two months of weekly indoor usage. Of decent quality. The sole is relatively stiff which I find very helpful. I have a weird shape of foot (wide front narrow heel) but the fit with the laces is very snug. This time I undersized but for the next time (I don't think my climbing ambition requires something fancier) I think I will go for my proper (street shoe) size.
Value for money
I bought these as my first climbing shoes, without wanting to spend more in case I didn't get into it. They have been fine, but are showing some signs of distress after a few months. However, the climbing wall is a harsh environment, and they were cheap, so I don't feel ripped off. But my next shoes will probably be something a bit more sophisticated.
Comfortable enough and cheap
very useful to have my own shoes - and such a good price too
nothing so far
Bought these for a teenager starting climbing. The shoes are great value and for a beginner they are good value and won't limit your climbing until you get much better. As a dad they don't break the bank when your teenager outgrows them in a few months.
I bought a pair myself as I liked the old-school look (like EBs)
I've seen a review complaining they get smelly, but I've had no problem. Climbing purists wouldn't approve, but a thin pair of socks can help with odour.
Good value, good fit, traditional look
