This product is excellent.
First Kheer Ganga trekking covered smoothly.
Now in my visit from Ludhiana to Tamil nadu , these have been perfect for everything.
The description says the shoe is for low level hiking but when i am actually using it, it is unfit for low level hiking.. the comfort level is not good and you get tired after walking 15-20 minutes. I will report a problem at store too and see what can be done.

The Arpenaz Hiking Boots are a Great Buy for those who love long walks & hiking.
They are light weight yet very sturdy. The boots cover the ankle, which makes them an ideal support during hiking & long walks.
I had to buy this trekking shoes as I am going for the Trek n didn't want to spend much money on shoes as this was the first time I was doing Trek. But I got this on a very attractive discount from Decathlon store. It fits me good n the material is also very good. Good value for money.
Very comfortable and excellent grip....good fitted
I used them for my Himalayan trek (sarpass). I was very comfortable walking in shoes with almost 8 hours daily walk for 10 days of trek. Grip was solid on mud-slippery patches of forest. only complaint is they are not very water-resistance so during heavy rain your feet will get wet and on ice - I had trouble finding good grip unless I tried to jam my feet on ice.. over all I am really happy with experience and I will recommend it to those who are tight on budget.
I've recently used this pair for a 4-day hike through Singalila National Park. The shoes were supportive and comfortable enough for the medium-steep rocky terrain. But the shoes have already started showing signs of wear. the rubber base seems to come off at some places. The absence of water-resistance is a negative too. The inner-padding and rubber-base were inadequate to absorb shocks while climbing downhill on rocky terrain.
shoes is good and comfortable, but pasting had gone in with in 6 month, i worked in forest so i can't visit Decathlon every time, so i had made some local repair. quiet disappointed.
I purchased this shoes 3 months ago. It is total value for money and is best suited for those who regularly do short weekend treks or use it regularly as casual shoes.
Did one steep and long trek with this, and understood that this shoes is more suited for low land and short treks as I got slight leg pain towards the end of trek. I would like to exchange this and buy another one which is more suited for steeper and longer treks. Decathlon please advice me how can I return this and buy Forclaz 100 or 500.
