Seeing that my last chain broke on it's first day out, Decathlon replaced it free of charge with this one, which up to now has been good.
Used for 1 week or less
As it says on the tin. Cheap price and good quality. They changed it for me too for a very good price.
Not worth the money
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
Had this chain fitted 2 months ago. At 1st everything seemed ok. Shifting was quick and quite. Have done less than 400 miles, keep chain clean and lubed, but can fell it stretching. Checked it at the weekend and it already needs changing. Would expect to get 1000-2000 miles as most is on the road so have not put a lot of strain on the chain.
The length of the chain can be easily adapted by using a chain tool (https://www.decathlon.fr/derive-chaine-velo-900-id_8351521.html) and fitting the quick release that comes in the pack.
Easy to dismantle using a quick-release chain tool (https://www.decathlon.fr/pince-attache-rapide-chaine-id_8352339.html) and/or standard chain tool (https://www.decathlon.fr/derive-chaine-velo-900-id_8351521.ht)
