day hikes or up to two days. Available in Men's and Ladies' versions.
40L: maximum back ventilation. Ventilated straps and belt. A lightweight backpack suitable for day hikes.
Back support is really good. Storage capacity is very less. Belt at the bottom stick outwards and pokes at the back. Any other bag has the same belt going sideways. This has the belt coming straight outwards. It feels like something is trying to stab both your kidneys.
back support is good. very light
belt at the bottom pokes my back. not comfortable
The backpack is for a few days only. Good material and everything but the shoulder pads could be bigger.
Love the fact that it doesn't touch your back
Too small in size & bump takes away room
Perfect fit in back.no weight feel.total weight
Best backpack I have ever seen. Comfort level on the backside is excellent. No feel of the weight on the back.
Back side is the best part with ventilation
Used for 30 days hiking/climbing as my day bag in the Himalaya's in all weather conditions and this rucksack took a lot of punishment. There was no fraying of material, or broken zips. For the price it will be hard to match. My only negative would be that it's a bit tricky to fit a full 2L bladder in but with patience it will go.
Durability, Adaptability & Raincover
Would have been nice to be able to remove hip belt
I have used this backpack for around 7 months now whilst travelling around New Zealand, Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia and the rest of South East Asia. The pack has been used intensively on single and multi day hikes in harsh terrain such as Glaciers and Volcanos (Tongariro National Park NZ). I have been consistently impressed with its carrying system which is both secure and comfortable with loads of up to 8kg whilst remaining very breathable with its technical ventilation system. Aside from the main carrying system the pack is overall very functional with enough pockets but not so many that it gets complicated. Whilst travelling this pack has been thrown into the back of trucks, boats, cars, planes and many other forms of transport whilst also tackling its way through bustling cityscapes, it has remained fully in tact largely I think due to its robust design and strenfit fabric integration. Overall I would reccomend this pack to anyone looking for a multi day all round do it all backpack, at its current price it is a true give away compared to other brands! (Note my girlfriends much more expensive Osprey pack broke after just 3 months!!) This pack I'm sure will serve me for many more years to come!
