Technical Information

1
Use temperature:
We display the "comfort temperatures" on all our sleeping bags, tested by an independent laboratory (AITEX) in compliance with European standard EN 13537 from 11/04/2002. The "comfort temperature" is the lower comfort limit at which a user in relaxed position is in thermal balance and is not hot or cold (determined for an average woman and in normal conditions of use). CHOOSE YOUR SLEEPING BAG ACCORDING TO THESE STANDARDS
2
What is the comfort limit temperature?
Comfort limit temperature: The minimum temperature at which a user feels comfortable overall - neither hot nor cold - while huddled up in the sleeping bag (as determined for an average male user under normal conditions).
3
However, here's what you need to know about temperatures:
A sleeping bag does not produce heat but retains the heat produced by the body. If you're exhausted, cold and slip into your icy, damp sleeping bag, you risk getting a cold, no matter what its features are! These temperatures depend on the person's resistance to cold (corpulence, fatigue,...), equipment (insulating the floor mattress,...), clothing (naked, underwear,...), and weather conditions (humidity, wind,...).
4
A few tips before you slip into your sleeping bag:
Dress simply (1 layer of clothing is enough) Warm up your hands and feet: hats, gloves, socks, heaters, rubbing... A flask of hot water can be used as a hot water bottle (if there is no risk of unintended opening!) Contract your muscles (70% of the energy consumed is converted into heat) but without making any movement generating a cold airstream. To avoid washing your sleeping bag too often, we advise you to use a liner (ref: 8382711).

A score for comparing products' environmental impact
The environmental impact of the product are calculated based on the life cycle of the product and with different indicators. Product test
This sleeping bag is guaranteed for 5 years from the date shown on the sales receipt. The product covered by the guarantee will be repaired or exchange free of charge. The guarantee covers defects in your sleeping bag, with the exception of those resulting from normal wear or from use in irregular conditions. This special 5-year guarantee will only be granted upon presentation of the product and sales receipt.

Stockage tips
Easily store your sleeping bag by stuffing it into its cover feet first. To keep it fluffed up, which will ensure good thermal performance, remove its cover and store it somewhere dry.

Maintenance tips
Wash your bag separately from other clothes or delicate colours, use 1/3 of a dose of washing powder, and select a synthetic cycle at 30°C. Stretch the bag out to dry in a dry, well-ventilated place out of the sun and away from heat sources or tumble dry low. Tip: a sleeping bag liner allows you to spread out washes and maintain good thermal performance.
