Thank you for your valuable feedback on Arpenaz 6.3 Family Tent. I apologise that our product did not meet your expectations.
At Decathlon, our Research and Development along with other supply chain teams are working hard to make our products accessible to many, keeping Quality at its best.
This product has been designed for camping. Just to give you a small insight into this product, it is an easy assembly tent for 6 people which is the only one to offer with 3 separate bedrooms with a central living area, with proper ventilation and also easy to transport.
It would be great if you could let me know the purpose of your usage, then I would be able to guide you further.
Sorry for the inconvenience caused.
I stay available for any further queries related to products or services.
Great tent, seems super quality. Ok to erect but wouldn't want to put it up in high winds.
Good value, we are happy.
We bought this to replace a 4-person tent while on holiday in Germany (Bad Kreuznach store). Pitched the following day and struggled to close the zip. We thought this may have been our fault or due to slightly uneven ground.
Used it the following year, this time on completely flat ground and it's quite clear the tent is out of shape making the front door impossible to zip closed without bending poles. Unfortunately, the zip burst and I'm deciding whether to repair the zip and sell it on or just throw it away.
Googled it when we came home and it would appear this is a very common problem with this tent. We paid a lot more than it's listed for now. It's a shame as otherwise, it would be an excellent tent for the money and I'm reluctant to buy another Quechua tent for this reason.
Thanks for your feedback on the Quechua 6.3 family tent and we apologise for the delay in responding to your post. I regret to hear that you have not been completely satisfied with the tent, we strive to provide the best products and I shall be sure to pass this feedback on to the product manager. If you still own the tent, please drop into your local store where we can find the best solution for you whilst also being able to take a look at the zips.

We've pitched this tent three times now, one trial run in the garden and on two separate campsites. Overall it's good but we found it a bit tricky to get it completely straight so that the flysheet is taut over all three bedroom pods. Also disappointed that it leaked in the living area where a hook for a window cover is sewn into the seam. The bedroom pods all remained dry in heavy rain.
Roomy, separate bedrooms, quick to put up.
Leak under heavy rain, tricky to put up correctly
Thanks for your feedback, It helps us to continually improve our products. All our tents are tested in real life and laboratory conditions. It's not normal that you have experienced a leak, please message us directly at firstname.lastname@example.org so that we can resolve this issue. Thank you.
Nice tent but poles need quality control or stronger - other tents with similar poles have lasted years
Really useful space with headroom
2 poles cracked - only used 3 times
Easy & quick to put up even in windy conditions
BASICALLY WENT TO FRANCE WITH OUR EXPENSIVE KAMPA AIRTENT SED ONCE OPENED THE BAG AND THE AIR PIPES HAD ROTTED. WENT TO DECTHLON BOUGHT THIS TENT TO SALVAGE MY HOLIDAY I HAVE NOTHING BUT PRAISE FOR IT AND WILL USE IT AGAIN
WATER TIGHT , ROOMY
First-off, the clips & toggles are no different from other top-end brands eg Eurohike & Outwell, but unlike a similar Outwell tent which can be easily erected in 20 mins by one person, this does need 2 people though can be ready to use in under 15 minutes without instructions.
This was used in constant heavy rain 11+ hours without any leakage - before we packed-up and left.
The tent is spacious and airy, suffered no problems with condensation and allows water to roll-off with no sagging. It has plenty of deep pockets easily able to hold general items including maps.
The ground mat has been cleverly designed to velcro to the bottom of the rooms and hook to the tent, this creates an inner-tray ensuring water simply cannot enter even from the ground.
The only real problems the tent does suffer from is: the mat does not extend into the porch area - you will need an additional mat as especially as the porch is still inside; the room-pods have no windows, only the main tent, the door cannot be extended to a covered porch, it is simply left loose of rolled-up, the guy lines are all white (yellow is better - this can be adjusted by buying replacement lines (generic is fine); also, all zips are single-zipped rather than double so the tent pods really need to be fully-opened from the bottom to the top clambering across the person next to the door is therefore garder.
Sturdy, durable well designed product
Needs at least 2 people to erect, heavy 15Kg
Have had 2 of these tents now and the internal bedroom clips have broken on both. It is otherwise a lovely tent but having woken up to wet bedding due to the clip breaking I wouldn't recommend it.
spacious and easy to put up
internal clips brittle
