Excellent buy - soft and comfortable
these are one of the most comfortable shoes i own... they are so good that i have bought a second pair and i just love them. though they are aqua shoes i also use them daily as they are super comfortable. only not recommended for people who walk a lot on rough uneven surfaces as the sole of the shoes is thin.
We bought these shoes to use them on our marine surveys, but they are absolutely useless on rocks and have a very poor grip. They are fine to use on sandy and muddy shores, where they drain the water but are completely pathetic and dont provide any grip on rocky intertidal walks. So please be aware of this short-coming of this product.
Thank you for this review on Aquashoes 50 dark gray water shoes. They are designed for snorkeling, walking on the shore, where there are rocks or pebbles. This footwear have been tested and validated under these conditions.
This information is very interesting for us to understand and improve our future products. I thank you in advance for your response. As I gather from the information that you have provided, you used these shoes for inter tidal walks where the flow of the water might be too much and you might slip.If your Aquashoes do not suit you, I request you to bring them back to one of our Decathlon stores to make an exchange. You will find in our range of products shoes that have slightly more thick soles like this model Aquashoes 100:https://www.decathlon.in/p/8201442_100-men-s-aquashoes-black.html#/5679-285-uk_5_5_5_eu_38_39
It is certainly more expensive but the soles are slightly thicker.

Since it's been a week and above i've, purchased them, didn't find any issue as per design but I felt pain in sole after 7 hours long use. This is individual liking:- A little bit of extra cushioning around heel area would have been great for whole day use
Very Comfortable in the beach & also for casual walk as well.
Value for Money.
Comfortable,, Easy to maintain.,
Although this product is meant for underwater walking, I have been using it for Running and Cycling. Have already run 2 10k Runs and cycled for 100 kms wearing these. Very comfortable on you feet. Normal shoes start hurting your legs once wet, these don't. I waded through knee deep water during the recent water logging in August in Mumbai.
Great product for daily use
It is a good product and comfortable, I wear it to office, City ride , drive etc, it gives nice comforts to foot.
The shoes are very light, and with trouser legs covering the top, they could easily fool someone into thinking they're socks. You don't even need to wear socks! While cushioning is somewhat poor, bear in mind these are not meant to replace regular walking shoes.
The only downside of these is that if you don't wear socks, the mouth of the shoe tends to bite into the skin of your foot.
