Good but some settings needed in gear changer
Cycle is very good for limited mountain cycling and packaging was also very good but there is some fault in rear tyre it keeps on leaking air ,on every third day its almost flat.
Not great to ride.
Enjoying the ride.. Happy on the purchase
I rode it for around 200-300 kms till now and the front derailer wont change to 1st (smallest one) at slopes. The rotator never syncs with the number one. I remember notifying the sales guy about this glitch and he convinced that this will be recitifed before delivery and isnt an error. Gear shifting is very hard and you might fall from the bike while doing it. I being decathlon fan went for btwin without considering montra or anyother bike. I feel i made a mistake in not doing my homework well.
Thank you for taking the time to give us your review. Apologies for the bad experience with the rockrider 340. The gear shifting especially with the front derailleur will have a problem if the tuning is off. Please let me know which store you have visited. I will coordinate with the store the next time you plan to visit Decathlon to get your bike servised. I will keep them notified of the problem on your bike to give it special attention.
well as this cycle has got light weight frame and well design frame so it s a better option for the new cyclist ,and its gear is good
I have bought this cycle for fitness purposes. It dose job perfectly.
I bought a B'twin rock rider 340 a month ago. Used it for no more than 50-60 kms. First of all, No instructional manual/guide or nothing of sort in print was given to me except the bill. Moreover, nothing was explained to me regarding the product usage or maintenance. Now I am facing an issue regarding the front brake shoe which touches the rim, or maybe the front rim is rotating uneven and eventually touching the rim. I am surprised that how come the new product has such a flaw. I can actually hear a rubbing/brushing sound while using it since day 1. Hope you can help or suggest me something in this regard.
I didn't get time to visit decathlon after purchasing the bicycle.
Besides this issue, it's a nice product and I Hope to look up and try more products from decathlon in near future.
Thank you for reviewing the Rockrider 340. On a brand new bike, the brakes take some time to wear out the top new layer which causes the sound. Moreover, The brake shoes need to be angled slightly outwards towards the stem. If the wheel is touching the brake shoes only at a certain point then there is a wheel bend which could have happened due to various reasons such as an impact on transport etc. This is also checked for before delivering the bike to you during the 14 point check at the store and online. Request you to get the same checked for free when you visit the closest Decathlon store.
