The Bike Is Just Awesome..... But I Have Some Problems With Rear Cassette ...... Any Help
I bought thi cycle few months ago and I have to say it's awesome. If u want to have a smooth ride and cool colour then this is the best you can get.
i started to office with bike as it is 3 KM distance only, I had a problem with chain, one of chain portion came out and full chain because of that came out from cycle, i was in hurry as it was monday.
may be the product is good but after delivery within 2 days on first ride this kind of problem should not be avoided by you.
Hi I bought this product on a day before i.e,9/11/17 it's an excellent bike to ride on the roads,I would definitely recommend this product to a friend ... I have small concern I have noticed some wobbling at the rear wheel as the free wheel or the cassette is little bit wobbling ,should I need to worry or is the wobbling is fine as I'm new to these gear bikes can anybody help...
Greetings! Thank you for the positive feedback on the product! In regard to the wabbling, I would recommend you to immediately take the cycle the nearest Decathlon store to get it checked.
B,twin rockrider 340 is smooth, powerful braking system and also grip of the tire and adjustable shock absorb.
The breaks wore down on the first day and were almost going to cause a accident as the cycle took 2 meters to stop
Thank you for taking the time to give us the review. Apologies for the bad experience you have had with the product. The brakes should have been definitely misaligned due to which you have faced the problem. It is not possible for a rubber break shoe to wear down in one day. Please let me know which store you purchased the bike from and I will coordinate with the store to get in touch with you.
The bikes brakes were getting weak and at the end of the first day the breaks were almost completely not working
Thank you for taking the time to give us the review. Apologies for the bad experience you have had with the product. We received one more similar review regarding the brakes. The brakes should have been misaligned due to which you have faced the problem. It is not possible for a rubber break shoe to wear down in one day. Please let me know which store you purchased the bike from and I will coordinate with the store to get in touch with you.
As far as price consult try to give helmet including basic accessories
I was riding my bicycle and the rear derailleur just came off the cycle which made me lose control and it almost killed me.
The reason for this was the poor quality of the derailleur (and it's made completely of plastic by the way). The rear derailleur is a shimano tourney which is the cheapest in the shimano line up. Now the funny part is at the store they told me that the whole drive train needs to be replaced, costing me INR 2800!!! And also nothing but the frame is covered under warranty BTW. My cycle is just one year old!
I don't understand why a sparingly used, one year old cycle needs so many parts to be replaced! I have had bicycles from other brands that I have used for years, without a hiccup.
The reason for all this is mainly due to the extremely poor quality parts used in your bicycles and poor service. I never expected this from Decathlon as I always looked up to Decathlon as a beacon for quality products.
Anyway, I'll have to pay the money and get the work done as I have no choice and I'm stuck with this bicycle now.
But I thought I'll let people know that these bicycles are of really poor quality and you are better off spending your money elsewhere.
Thank you for taking the time to give us your review. The rear derailleur can get stuck in one of the 3 cases written below.
1) When the Gear ratio used was wrong. (riding with 1 on the FD and 7 on the RD).
2) When the drive train is not well lubricated over a period of time, there are chances that the chain gets stuck at a particular teeth resulting in the RD getting extended and finally breaking away.
3) If the gear shift was too quick with very slow / no pedaling, the chain will get jammed and the RD may break.
The old model of the Rockirder 340 had Shimano TZ-30 as its rear derailleur. We had few complaints and we did upgrade it to Shimano tourney after listening to our users because Shimano Tourney is an upgraded from TZ-30 specially in performance. We did keep the bike at the same price even after the upgrade.
Our every intention is to give good components at the best price quality ratio, resulting in a bike that is affordable and performance oriented in its category.
As a solution for the problem I would suggest you to change only the RD. The total cost is 1099/- which includes the derailleur + labor cost. Please advice us if you got a quote of 2800/- for only replacing the derailleur or does it include a full service from the workshop. We would like to get in touch with the store to clarify and resolve the problem.
i bought the cycle 3 weeks ago its very good i reccomend cyclers to buy this cycle
