Useful during night while camping in himalayas.
Great socks, comfortable and warm, I spent a cold weekend cycling in Amsterdam and they kept me warm in the night. I will be buying more.
It's fine product but the elastic is too smooth. Care for this.
Very warm and comfortable, however they do not stay up on the leg. I was constantly having to pull them up to stop them creeping down into my shoes. Maybe I need garters to hold them up.
I was in Iceland with it and felt the need to wear multiple layers of socks. Plus I always felt slightly wet always because of the moisture.
I am sorry to hear about your negative experience with the SH900 Warm Snow Hiking Sock. This sock is the warmest sock in our range. The part of the sock covering the foot is 100% merino wool to increase its warmth, however this has the downside of limiting breathability which may explain the moisture build up you were experiencing. If you were still feeling cold while using these socks then it may have been necessary to have been wearing warmer shoes as well. In very cold climates it is recommended to wear winter hiking boots with winter socks. You can find our range of winter footwear here: https://www.decathlon.co.uk/C-593221-snow-boots/N-327561-gender~men%27s.
If you are still unhappy with your purchase and you have a Decathlon account then please do not hesitate to return the product to your nearest Decathlon store.

My daughter and I bought these socks last January to wear in Berlin and they kept our feet warm and toasty in below zero temperatures! So now Ive bought more for my other daughter and son in law to wear in Canada!
Warm and comfortable.
I bought these Socks in the Stockport Branch , good value for a Tenner, they were comfy and warm. However after a short period of use the right toe in each sock has worn through, scince I live in North Wales I cannot return them by post (As I purchased them in store)and it's not worth me going to Stockport to change them or refund. So on reflection not really a good buy, pity as they seemed really good value , but not if they don't last a few outings.
Thanks for your feedback on the Quechua Arpenaz 100 warm boots. I apologise for the inconvenience caused by the quality of the socks, I shall pass your comments on to the product manager. Our closest store to you is probably Warrington (https://www.decathlon.co.uk/en/store?store_id=PS_UK_684), if you do pass by, please drop in where we can offer an exchange or refund for you.
