Previously had the 700 Aerofit which I was very happy with and these have nicer straps. Raced all season in them and had two 14 hour/220+ miles days as well.
They're on the tighter side of the fit - very Euro as it were, so maybe consider getting a size larger if you usually buy American/UK brand short.
I've always worked on the basis that you get what you pay for, and also that good cycling shorts are a worthwhile investment for comfort on long rides. Because of this, I've resisted trying a pair of the shorts, assuming that because they are comparatively inexpensive, they would be rubbish. However, when I saw an offer on them, I decided to take a punt as I'd read good reviews. I'm never going to be a snob again - these are much more comfortable for me than any of the other more expensive pairs I own.
Extremely comfortable short, very stretchy but with good support. Little improvements compared to the previous model (bought in France 5 years ago): wide and rigid top shoulder straps which avoid the straps to wrinkle and get uncomfortable. Wide silicon band on the end of the legs so they don't come up at all while riding.
Any chance of a "UK/Australia" design with the white band on the right (just kidding).
Equivalent to a $200+ short in other leading brands.
None so far
These bibshorts are as comfortable as another pair that I purchased this year but which cost nearly four times the price. Each pair has been worn now for century rides only. Each pair has ridden over 30 centuries. This pair looks as it did on the day of purchase. It's a very durable product. It's retained its elasticity and is still as closely fitting as it was when new. The other brand by a different manufacturer has lost its shape and the material has visibly faded. Well done product designers and quality control. Just ordered a pair of biblongs on the strength of this purchase. By the way, the pad on the shorts fits well, is not too big, and is as good as the pad in the other product too.
Comfort, durability, fit, value for money.
I bought these a few years ago, and they are probably my best fitting pair of bib shorts.
when I first bought them I didn't find them the most comfortable, but not as a more regular rider I see their benefits.
These are probably my second best pair now, but the others are three times the price Assos!
Great value, I am becoming a convert to bTwin as a whole
Right level of padding, firm, great fit
Bought two pairs of these to replace some older Decathlon compression bibshorts that i'd worn to death.
For me the padding us some of best I've used and really comfy. The new legs hems are good and fit well.
However the shoulder straps are pretty awful. I can see that Decathlon have tried to make them more comfortable but unfortunately they tend to slip off the shoulders especially when wearing a base layer leaving you feeling like you need to constantly adjust them.
Shame really as like the're great from the waist down.
Have been using the 700 series shorts for over a year now and these ones are as good as my previous ones. Have used them for long rides without issue.
good fit, good pad, nice design
I bought two pairs of these (inc matching tops). Good looking and good construction and use of materials, however I've found them to not be as comfortable as either my Lusso Progel bibs or a pair of Adidas supernova proficio bib shorts I own. So a bit disappointed. Pad seems very large in terms of its width (not thickness)and this became irritating after over 2hr in saddle. Never had this issue with the Lusso or adidas (or my cheapies). I read somewhere that the straps are quite wide fitting and I would agree with this. Decathlon need to make a few tweaks to make them perfect.
Thank you for your valuable feedback. I will forward your comments on to the product designer at b'Twin.

This was my first purchase of Bib Shorts. The fit was great with no issues about slipping off my shoulders. I am 5ft9, 33/34 waist. So far my longest ride in them is about 64 miles. They are incomparably better than of my other 3 pairs of regular shorts. I used chamois cream but am inclined to believe they would have been just as comfortable without it.
I may buy another pair in the alternate colour strip.
Price. Fit. Performance. Appearance
I am 6ft and 100kg, XL was a perfect snug fit. These are on a par if not more comfortable than my other premium branded bib shorts that cost £120 more.. Only minor point was some shoulder strap slippage when off the bike at the cafe stop but not a problem when on the bike.
