Made for Designed in the French Alps, check out our NH500 shorts to wear on your two-hour hikes in the plains, forest or coastline in dry weather. Looking for shorts to escape for a day in the countryside? Our comfortable and practical NH500 model is suitable for relatively flat hikes. No compromise on style!
These shorts have an ergonomic construction thanks to the use of a gusset (reinforced diamond-shaped section) at the crotch. It's cut close to the leg without being fitted. For a looser silhouette, you can take one size larger than the one you usually choose. The inside leg is 29 cm in size 44 (L).
The main fabric of these shorts is composed of 65% organic cotton (grown without chemical fertilisers or pesticides) and 35% recycled polyester from plastic waste.
WHAT IS organically grown COTTON?
Since 2006, we have been using organically grown cotton – a niche market that currently only represents 0.4% of the global production of cotton. This is cotton that is grown without chemicals and pesticides. It preserves biodiversity, soil fertility and reduces the risk of groundwater pollution.
WHAT IS recycled polyester?
We take care of our planet in order to preserve our natural playing field and make hiking more enjoyable. That's why we opted for a polyester yarn entirely made from recycled polyester fibres, thereby reducing our CO2 emissions.

Our commitment? To offer you hard-wearing products you can take with you on all your country walks. Because the products we like the most are those with a story behind them that is still ongoing!
Our design team imagined, thought up and designed the Quechua products in France, at the foot of the Mont Blanc. We test them in the field with other hikers to make sure that they are comfortable and durable. We take them on as many trails as we can, in all weathers. These field tests involve lots of discussions, which are very useful in getting your feedback and planning our future collections!
