Technical Information

1
CHOICE OF SIZE
The watertightness of the swimming goggles is dependent on the proper fit of the silicone seal with the shape of your face. Before purchase, we advise you to do the "suction" test without the strap. If the goggles hold on your face by themselves with slight suction, the product will be watertight during your swim. This allows you to see if the size is too tight or too big. SPIRIT GOGGLES ARE OFFERED IN TWO SIZES: S for small faces and L for large faces.
2
CARE - PRECAUTIONS
You should: - rinse your goggles after use - put them in a box between each session to prevent any contact with the lenses (inside where the anti-fog coating is located, and outside to avoid any scratches that may impact your visibility).NEVER TOUCH/RUB THE INSIDE OF YOUR LENSES.
3
FOG
The appearance of fog depends on several factors, the difference in temperature between the body and the water, humidity levels, etc. Wear due to friction is one of the main causes. If your goggles fog up, dip your lenses in the water and a protective film will reform. Be aware that after a certain amount of time it is normal for the performance of the anti-fog coating to be diminished. We offer an anti-fog marker which reactivates the anti-fog coating and increases the lifetime of your goggles.
4
LENS TINT
The colour of your goggles should be suited to your swimming location and its lighting. If you swim outside or in a swimming pool with bright lighting, you will benefit from smoke-tinted or mirror finish goggles. Your comfort when swimming will be greater. In comparison, if the swimming pool is darker with low lighting, during winter evenings for example, you will prefer transparent or slightly tinted lenses. Spirit goggles are available with different lens tints.

Stockage tips
Put the goggles back in their box between your sessions. Important: Do not touch the inside of the lenses to avoid damaging the anti-fog treatment.

Maintenance tips
Rinse goggles in clear cold water after each use. Important: Do not touch the inside of the lens (with your finger or with a cloth) to avoid damaging the anti-fog treatment. Do not leave exposed to the sun for long periods as this damages the straps and some of the goggles' other components. Protect your goggles from dirt and grease, especially on the lenses.

This is the best.
Buy if you wont ever touch the glasses from inside
Used for 1 week or less
Used once after buying and cleaned with a soft cloth on the inside side of the goggles lens and I can't use them anymore now, even a soft cloth gave so many scratches, a cloth which I used to clean other spectacles. I just packed it and kept aside because the instructions paper in the box said not to clean the lens, which I saw while packing it off. Now that I know I did something that I shouldn't have done, which was obviously a common thing to do, I can't even ask for a replacement or a refund. A sad disappointment.
Response of the brand
Hello Rakesh,

I apologize for the bad experience you have faced with the swimming goggles. Yes, you should not touch the inside lens of the swimming goggles as it not only gets scratched but also the anti-fog layer gets removed. Nevertheless, I still invite you to any of our Decathlon stores to have the swimming goggles exchanged for a product that best suits your requirement. I stay available in case you have any other queries. Happy swimming and have a good day!

Response of the brand
Hello Ravin,

Thank you  for your feedback.

As for the fogging up of the swimming goggles, due to the difference in the temperature of the pool, the air, and your body, it is inevitable for your swimming goggles to fog up. In this case, you just need to dip your swimming goggles in water and let it air dry. In case you have touched the lens with your finger or towel while cleaning them, the anti-fog layer tends to go off. If the layer is still here and it fogs up, you may use the anti-fog marker linked here: https://www.decathlon.in/p/8400299_swimming-goggles-anti-fog-marker.html#/6389-254-no_size

Nevertheless, you may have them exchanged at the nearest Decathlon store. Our sales advisers will help you with the same. I stay available in case you have any other issues. Have a good day!

It fits perfect to my eyes,i use it daily.
Alright for beginners
Used for 3 to 6 months
It is alright to start off with, but over time, it starts to fog even if you ensure water doesn't enter the inside of the goggles.
