It is very easy to drive and very attractive
Gear shifting & Braking is also good!
While in ride Gears not smooth.. Little bit difficult
Our bikes usually come completely tuned after the 14 check point is done at the store. It is very rare that the gear cables looses the tuning which leads to improper shifting. However this can be fixed easily at the workshop of the closest Decathlon store. So I would recommend you to visit the closest Decathlon store at your earliest and ask for the gears to be tuned.
Great product. Thoroughly enjoying my rides...moves like a breeze. You can't get a bike with these specs at this price point from any brand. Thanks Decathlon!
i personally like it.... great comfort !!
IT EXCELLENT , BETTER NOT TO COMPARE TO ANY OTEHR BRAND, IT LIKE ROCKING SUPER STAR.
High-quality bike with attractive looks. Smooth and quick accelerating gears. Have been on all terrains on this bike and haven't found it wanting. Apart from a few punctures, there have been no issues with the bike. For every day use and occasional off-roading, this bike is perfect. Makes no sense in buying more expensive bikes if you are not into serious MTBing. The Rockrider 520 will do everything you ask of it and then some more.
Writing Review after 1+ year use.
I have never crossed more den 35kms before on Basic Bike
* While Riding RR520 it gave me confidence of handling at high speed on highways.
* Braking and Control is excellent.
* Gear Shifting is easy. It never had delay while climbing or shifting error compared to other bikes of same range.
* I easily made 50kms ride.
* My Dream earlier was 100 kms which I covered up easily in short time.
* I feel RR520 is somewhere between Hybrid and Beginner Level MTB.
I wish I had Locking Front suspension or Weight Adjuster in my model.
Rest everything is the Best compared at the Price.
Got for It
The rear disk break pads rubs against the disk even when the break is not engaged and keeps making noise. The rear tyre developed cracks in less than 3 months of usage. When I mentioned that while the first warranty service I was told that these cracks are normal. Not sure how sidewall cracks could be normal. Seems I was sold a old piece that was stocked for a while.
