This pump will help you inflate tires upto 65 psi. The pressure gauge is useful and the pump compact. Good for long rides. Only thing missing is a foot holder.
The pressure gauge was not working from day one. Tried to get it replaced with another piece. But could not, because for every piece that was there in the showroom, the pressure gauge was not working. Got this replaced for a floor pump finally.
Thank you for taking the time to give us your review. I apologize for the inconvenience caused. There are very few pieces of this pump, per store, that are on display. Please let us know which store you had reached out to and we will try to give you a new pump if you still wish to get the 920 pump. I remain available at your disposal.
I cannot change the valves and there is not enough information on the packing or on the website showing how to change them. It would be really helpful if you added a video showing how to change them.
Thank you for taking the time to give us your review. Apologies for the lack of information. Here is a link to the video which will help you understand the lock better https://youtu.be/DeipM5OcnZk.
Extremely difficult to get to the right pressure. I tried to inflate a 700cX28 tire. It took hell lot of effort and with great difficulty, I was able to only get to 60PSI. I was at home trying out the new pump. Finally, I had to give up and used my floor pump to get from 60PSI to 80PSI.
May be good for emergency but certainly not a replacement of a Floor pump.
Size, is good, built is good and the gauge is handy to see the pressure one pumped in.
I ordered this pump online 3 days back and recieved it today, so delivery time was lesser than my expectation. So that's the only pro with this pump so far.
Look Wise, it's premium, but in terms of performance it didn't meet my expectations.
I own a TRIBAN 500 road bike for which I purchased this pump. The recommended tyre pressure on my road bike is around 7-8 Bars, so I thought of using this pump to inflate my tyres in times of emergency.
But when I used it today for the first time, I was hardly able to go above 4.5 Bars and I am fairly muscular to pump my tyres.
I am unable to understand the purpose of this hand pump if can't inflate my tyres to 7-8 Bars, which the website boasts of pumping "EASILY" to 8 Bars... So far it's almost "USELESS" to me.
Decathlon please look into it, as I am very much disappointed with the performance of this pump.
Thank you for taking the time to give us your review. This is one of the technical pumps we have. The pump needs to be held firmly as shown in the images (https://www.btwin.com/en/bike-pump-accessories/bike-hand-pump-accessories/19832-920-telescopic-hand-...) .
You can also place the meter end of the pump on the floor to get more leverage. For more help , you can visit the closest Decathlon store and ask for a demonstration. They would be happy to help you. I remain available if you have any questions.
Small compact pump with gauge. Good for topping up air on a mtb and pumping road tyres. The barrel of the piston in the pump is in two telescopic sections, one of which you can lock off to pump at higher road tyres pressures, 80psi upwards. As the size dictates its not a high volume pump so takes ages to pump wide mtb tyres up from flat. Other than that I carry it with me on my commute, fits both Schrader and the other type valve, can use gauge to check pressures too.
This is a really good pump ans small to go in my bag, the only down side as with all small pumps is its hard to get to 90 psi unless you have strengths of superman.
I do recommend this pump it will most centrally get you out of trouble on the road until you get home and then you can use your large pump to get up to pressure.
Used this less than a dozen times over 2 months and the plastic handle fell apart. The tube and piston are made of aluminium so feels sturdy but the plastic handle is poor quality and a weak point. Had to throw the pump away and now looking for a better quality replacement.
Thank you for sharing your experience of using the bike pump with us. Clearly, this should not fall apart.
I will forward your comments on to the product designer who will no doubt find it to be very useful.
Please feel free to return it to us for a refund or an exchange.

10 out of 10 for this pump, have used it on a road bike 100 psi, no problem getting to the required pressure. I bought a 2nd one for the car as she doesn't come with a spare tyre. Picked up a nail, once pressure dropped got warning light so pulled over at a safe place and was able to get the correct pressure to get too garage for tyre to be fixed. Best hand pump I've used.
Liked the pump but mounting clip no good and pump fell off on ride (after 23 miles) today and got run over by following car. Mounting clip needs some form of positive retention.
Please contact your local Decathlon store and they will provide your with a new pump.
I use the very same pump on my bike and i have attatched it to the bottle cage mounts on the seat tube (much better that the down tube). I also ensure each time I clip the pump into it's holder that I rotate the whole pump so that the rubber hose grips the plastic clamp. I have used it all winter with no issues.
I think we should give this advice on the product page/packaging. I will notify the designer at b'twin.
A velcro strap is also a very simple and effective way of adding extra protection.
