Technical Information

A fin is a piece of swimming training equipment to work the lower body. Swim fins are ideal for swimming faster, for longer. You can simultaneously work on your heart rate and strength training on lower-body muscles (thighs, glutes and calves, as well as core stability)
SHORT BLADE35/36: 30 cm 37/38: 31.7 cm 39/40: 33.5 cm 41/42: 35.3 cm 43/44: 37.1 cm"Short blade" fins: ensure a good kicking frequency and maintain a higher heart rate. Motion is very close to the "natural" movement.
VERY SOFT FINSStiffness is characterised by the density of matter, so the more rigid a blade is, the greater muscular exertion will be, the softer a blade is, the more efficient and sweeping the kick will be. It is the resistance of the blade that will generate the type of exercise desired (cardiovascular or muscular exertion)
FULL FOOT FINSThe foot pocket of a fin holds the foot in place when kicking (important for an efficient kick) so take the time to try on the fins before buying. It is important to check that the foot fits well in the foot pocket and the uncovered area (to prevent water from entering). It is important to choose the right size. There are two types of foot pockets: full foot and open heel.

Not as good as the old style
Used for More than 2 years
We've been using Decathlon Fins for a few years. The new style fins have an extra bit on the back to make it easier to pull on, unfortunately this bit now rubs your feet. Unhappy with the new style.
Response of the brand
Dear Jen,

Thank you for your recent feedback. We are sorry to hear that design of our new fins is not as suitable for you as was the previous model one. We will forward your feedback to the Nabaiji brand to make sure they are aware of potential issue with new design. Please visit your local store or sue the online procedure for full refund or exchange.
The next model up is very popular in our stores and here is the direct link if you would like to try it: https://www.decathlon.co.uk/silifins-short-fins-black-id_8392325.html
Once again apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Kind regards,

Some may find them useful
Used for 1 week or less
Used them for the first time last night and almost immediately got cramp. I have used other fins and had no problem but these seemed to force me into an unnatural stroke hence the cramp. As the title of the review says some people may find them useful and they are well made but they just don't work for me.
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
I used these for swimming and snorkelling (without a snorkel) in Greece. Its true there is not a lot of propulsion but there is enough and the fit is excellent if you have wider feet like me. Very comfortable and easy to use and a very good price. Very happy with purchase.
