| How should I dress when hiking on the snow? | To dress correctly in the winter, no matter what your activity is, we recommend that you apply the 3 layer principle: layer 1: The technical base layer will enable damp to be wicked away to keep skin dry. layer 2: The second layer (fleece, pullover) provides warmth and wicks away the damp. layer 3: The jacket protects you from outdoor conditions: rain, snow, wind. The outfit must be breathable to wick away damp. |

| Component waterproofing | We measure a fabric's resistance to a column of water expressed in mm (based on the ISO 811 standard). The higher the pressure, the more the fabric is waterproof. A component with a 2000 mm waterproof rating is therefore resistant to the pressure exerted by a 2000 mm column of water (which roughly corresponds to a 2-hour downpour). |
| Water resistance of the jacket | This garment was approved in a shower test in 60 L of water/sqm/hour for 30 minutes. This test reproduces the conditions of a short winter shower. |
| Additional recommended products | The water-repellency of a fabric is its ability to let the water slide off its surface, without absorbing it. In this way, the fabric does not soak up water and therefore remains lightweight, breathable and warm. Water-repellency is obtained by a treatment applied on the outer surface of the fabric. This treatment needs to be renewed during the lifetime of the garment (we recommend each wash). Products (sprays and liquids) are available in our stores. |
| Will my jacket withstand regular use over the long-term? | To check the durability of our products, we carry out tests on the components selected: resistance to rubbing and abrasion, colour fastness, resistance to repeated washing. All these tests were carried out on the component of your jacket. |
| How does my product warranty work? | This product is guaranteed for 2 years from the date shown on the receipt. A product covered by the warranty will be exchanged free of charge. The warranty covers product defects, excluding those resulting from normal wear and tear and improper use. |
