Technical Information

1
Why wear this ankle support?
Wearing an ankle support may be recommended if you have suffered ligament damage or you are unsure how your ankles will hold up when you get back into sport (basketball, football, handball, tennis, running, trail running, gymnastics, judo) after a sprain. It is easy to put on and has protective foam and a shape designed to suit your ankle and keep you comfy.
2
What is a sprain?
A sprained ankle is when you stretch or tear the ligaments. It mainly happens when people lose their balance on slippery terrain, either during a spontaneous movement or during active play. We reckon that a sprained ankle is the most common sports injury and that it happens at least 6000 times per day!
3
Why protect your ankles?
When getting back into sport after a sprain, it's important to have already done physio exercises so that your ankles recover as many of their physical abilities as possible. Once you suffer a sprain, the risk of suffering another is greater, hence the need to protect your ankles.

It's an amazing invention that I was waiting for years. It does let me do all kind of exercices but never let my ankle twisted. My whole problem was; I wasn't able to stop my ankle being twisted or broken so at the end, the doctors didn't allow me to do any active sports but after my rehabilitation I discovered that product with my husband by chance and started to do some really hard training on an uneven outdoor surface with British Military Fitness while I wasn't even allowed to run. I'm the happiest person in the world that somebody searched and invented some product like that for people like me. I got two for my both ankles and I'm wearing them with double socks because of the sensitivity around my ankles from bond ruptures but if you arrange your straps well you don't even feel you have it on your ankle. Thanks to the inventors and the sellers and the suppliers and whoever brings them to us!!
