Had this shelter with us on a 2 week camping trip but one of the metal o-rings was pulled open during some windy weather. This resulted in total destruction of the shelter. Not sure how well this has been tested for wind: one side of the shelter can only be fixed at the bottom with two hooks, this also wasn't very practical with oblique wind angles as the wind can get under the sheet which flaps about and pulls severely on the structure.
Do not ever purchase on line with this company..could never get a response from so called customer service team...delivery was 10 days late..no email or phone calis from Decathlon team regarding purchase..waste of time trying to communicate with this company..best advise..keep away!!
Bought this to use as an awning on a micro camper. It's fantastic. Plenty of room for table and cooking equipment plus chairs and used as an extra bedroom too. Easy to put up own, and has withstood wind and rain with no problems regularly. Nets on windows/doors offer ventilation without the bugs. Fantastic peice of equipment for a fantastic price.
I am sure about one thing that existing owners and users must not have right words to put on paper as yet they must be trying to swallow beauty and their experience to stay in this tent and future buyers too will find it so. A must own product for nature lovers and camping guys. EXCELLENT.
We have used this in all sorts of weather and it has been fantastic. We do use our own 6 inch nail type pegs as we tend to camp in windy coastal areas. Used in stormy Loire during downpours/storms and on the windy north coast of France it has never let us down. The quechua tarp gives a great extension to this tent.
Absolutely brilliant I'm using it to shelter my spa. And it's doing the job a great size easy to put up. And I can also use it to go camping. Loving my tent best one I've ever bought and an amazing price.
We bought this as a shelter to use at race events. Really easy to pitch and does what it says it will do.
Lot of space to move around as the height is pretty comfortable. The insects are also kept at bay because of nets being all around. These nets also keep the tent cross ventilated and cool. The door has a single zipper which is quite annoying at times.
Strong and qualitative materials, easy to set up tent, on par with Decathlon's quality. I like the fact that its possible to stand up with extra room. The boxy shape makes it very spacious. Also more than enough ventilation if needed. Absolutely no smell of plastic, very confortable to sleep. The thick bottom layer makes it usable on wet and very wet grounds.
On the down side, a two way zipper would have been better, and the zipper get stuck almost each time.
Also, a hole to run a cable would have been nice.
If there is a cover that goes on top I would like to buy it too.
I recommend buying this product, you probably wont find better value for money 4.5/5
I bought this tent as a cheap, spacious awning to go alongside my Mazda Bongo. I took it around Europe for 3 weeks and It was fantastic. Very easy to assemble, I did it alone a few times. Very spacious and a great for eating in, getting changed etc when you need some extra room.
The only downsides are the zips are not the quality of a more expensive tent so just don't be rough with them. The back large door also does not have a zip, it only closes with Velcro so this maybe not the idea tent for it you are in bad weather.
Overall for £80 this is an excellent budget tent.
