Technical Information

Living room
Square shelter 2.5 m side, 6.25 sqm with maximum height of 2.15m. bag: Cylindrical: 57 cm x 18 cm x 18 cm. Weight: 7.7 kg.
Very simple pitching and unpitching. We insert 2 poles in loops on the ground, insert the ends of the loops in the cups on the 4 corners. Once the shelter is pitched, peg the 4 corners and the red strap across the side door. Finish off with 4 guy ropes for maximum wind resistance.
Protection from the sun
The flysheet fabric filters out UV rays with an SPF of 30. Please note: a large amount of UV can pass through a simple open door. Shaded area one side to provide further protection from the sun.
Dimensions and weight, folded dimensions
Cylinder cover: 57 cm x 18 cm x 18 cm 18 litres, weight: 7.7 kg.
3 openings with mosquito nets on 3 faces to enable great air circulation and maximum protection against mosquitoes.
The waterproofing of QUECHUA tents is tested on the complete tent, under 200 litres water/hour/sqm (200mm of rain per hour) for 4 hours. The water column test (= mm schmerbers) measures just the impermeability of the fabric. Our test enables the ingress of water through seams, flaps, openings, zips, etc to be prevented.
We test all our tents in a wind tunnel on a turntable to expose each side of the tent to the wind. The well-pitched tent with all the guy ropes rigged around the tent must remain habitable in wind speeds of 50 km/h measured near the ground.
Poles, pegs
Poles: All our fibreglass poles undergo a double quality control guaranteeing excellent resistance to breakage. Tent pegs: Excellent twisting resistance (6mm diameter steel).

Excellent Product!
Used for 3 to 6 months
Bought to use as a 'drive-away' awning on a campervan, following very poor experiences with a so called specialist product bought elsewhere at triple the price!
Light, easy to assemble and extremely well constructed.
Attached the large flap to the vehicle when not raining and very useful as an extension where you can sit inside completely bug-free.
Withstood rain and wind - yes did use larger pegs and attached additional straps midway on large flap to prevent cross-wind damage - but otherwise could be safely and securely left on site.
A great product and excellent value for money!
O-ring failure during windy conditions
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
Had this shelter with us on a 2 week camping trip but one of the metal o-rings was pulled open during some windy weather. This resulted in total destruction of the shelter. Not sure how well this has been tested for wind: one side of the shelter can only be fixed at the bottom with two hooks, this also wasn't very practical with oblique wind angles as the wind can get under the sheet which flaps about and pulls severely on the structure.
Never again
Used for 1 week or less
Do not ever purchase on line with this company..could never get a response from so called customer service was 10 days email or phone calis from Decathlon team regarding purchase..waste of time trying to communicate with this advise..keep away!!
Great as an annexe
Used for 3 to 6 months
Bought this to use as an awning on a micro camper. It's fantastic. Plenty of room for table and cooking equipment plus chairs and used as an extra bedroom too. Easy to put up own, and has withstood wind and rain with no problems regularly. Nets on windows/doors offer ventilation without the bugs. Fantastic peice of equipment for a fantastic price.
The Tent of tomorrow
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
I am sure about one thing that existing owners and users must not have right words to put on paper as yet they must be trying to swallow beauty and their experience to stay in this tent and future buyers too will find it so. A must own product for nature lovers and camping guys. EXCELLENT.
Very good value for cost.
Used for More than 1 year
We have used this in all sorts of weather and it has been fantastic. We do use our own 6 inch nail type pegs as we tend to camp in windy coastal areas. Used in stormy Loire during downpours/storms and on the windy north coast of France it has never let us down. The quechua tarp gives a great extension to this tent.
Brilliant tent
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
Absolutely brilliant I'm using it to shelter my spa. And it's doing the job a great size easy to put up. And I can also use it to go camping. Loving my tent best one I've ever bought and an amazing price.
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
We bought this as a shelter to use at race events. Really easy to pitch and does what it says it will do.
Cool and comfortable
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
Lot of space to move around as the height is pretty comfortable. The insects are also kept at bay because of nets being all around. These nets also keep the tent cross ventilated and cool. The door has a single zipper which is quite annoying at times.
Great value for price
Used for 3 to 6 months
Strong and qualitative materials, easy to set up tent, on par with Decathlon's quality. I like the fact that its possible to stand up with extra room. The boxy shape makes it very spacious. Also more than enough ventilation if needed. Absolutely no smell of plastic, very confortable to sleep. The thick bottom layer makes it usable on wet and very wet grounds.
On the down side, a two way zipper would have been better, and the zipper get stuck almost each time.
Also, a hole to run a cable would have been nice.
If there is a cover that goes on top I would like to buy it too.
I recommend buying this product, you probably wont find better value for money 4.5/5
