Technical Information

Turnring system
Turnering is an essential part of your helmet. This system allows you to adjust easily and precisely at any time thanks to a knob accessible even with your ski gloves. It gives you comfort of use and maximum safety. Turn the clip to the right to screw and to the left to unscrew.
Venting System
The Venting System improves the thermal regulation of your helmet and reduces the appearance of fog in your goggles. This type of design guides the air to evacuate heat and humidity, taking into account the entire helmet-goggles interface.
Light Shell Construction
The Light Shell Construction makes it possible to develop exceptionally light helmets. This technique, called In-Mold, forms an external polycarbonate shell, that is directly moulded on the EPS liner. The inner EPS lining absorbs the shock during impact. The entire assembly is very light. We recommend changing your ski helmet every 5 years maximum as long as it has not undergone a major shock during this time.
EN 1077 standard
The EN 1077 standard is a European standard that applies to helmets used for skull protection when downhill skiing or snowboarding. A feature of this standard are the tests undertaken to check the shock absorption properties and the resistance to penetration.
Removable textile
The removable inner part can be washed. The inner cap of this ski helmet is detachable and machine washable at 30°C.

All Wed'ze products are tested under the real conditions of use for which they were designed: in the snow and cold and under all the conditions you may encounter when skiing. The design teams, product managers, engineers and designers make sure that the programme for which the product has been designed and developed is perfectly suited for its use in the field.

Do not store in a damp place, near a source of heat or sunlight. Dry thoroughly before storing, preferably in a fabric helmet bag.

Good, low priced helmet.
Used for 1 week or less
I was very pleased with this helmet, it certainly protected my head when I fell backwards snowboarding!
I like the “strap” that kept my goggles attached to the helmet, much better than my previous helmet.
Also it was very comfortable and I closed the vents to keep my head extra warm.
I would have given 5 stars, but I felt the tightening wheel at the back kept getting slightly loose, so I had to occasionally keep adjusting.
Definitely very good value for money!
Front vents are fake
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
Not the best helmet for snowboarding, since the front vents are actually not real... so your goggles fog up. Also even with a large size, it's difficult to wear a beanie and your goggles underneath. Even if you are only buying this for short term, rather spend a little more and buy a slightly more higher end helmet.
The ear pad can be detached
Used for 1 week or less
I've compared this to Stream500 helmet, and this is less bulky, shorter profile(because the ear area isnt hard shell) and lighter.
This review will be more about the ear pad, as i have yet to put this helmet into action (I will drop another review once i've done that).

I found this vid from Decathlon Belgium, I and believe this would apply to any Wed'ze helmet that have similar ear pads.

I have successfully detached mine, but you need to grip it hard, nudge it side to side.
