Technical Information

1
Breathability
To determine whether a fabric is breathable, we measure its evaporative resistance (test based on standard ISO 11092). The lower its resistance, the more the fabric will let water vapour produced by the body escape, and therefore the more breathable it is. For example: RET < 9 = extremely breathable fabric.

Product tests
Our team of product designers based at the B'Twin Village in Lille is continuously working to make cycling more comfortable for our users. Our obsession is to create products that meet the specific cycling needs of our users so as to eliminate things that get in the way of their rides. We then test our products in the field, as we are convinced that only by subjecting them to real world conditions, like the ones you experience on your bike, can we continuously improve our products.

Very very uncomfortable, whereas it was advised for endurance rides but unable to wear even for an hour.

Ccellent shorts. Used fir over 190 miles of cycling in one week and they're very comfortable.
Not impressed...
Used for 1 week or less
Tried two pairs of these on in the shop - Strangely, the S pair seemed larger than the M pair; the M was far too tight, while the S pair fitted much better. Is this a mis-labelling?
The new style of gripper bands look (and feel) odd. It feels as though my lower thighs are being strangled... I tried a L pair too, but same result. I think I'll pass on these.
One good point - They appear to share the same pad as the earlier (and better) 700s.
Response of the brand
