Wind resistance
We test all our tents in a wind tunnel on a rotating platform where we can expose each side of the tent to the wind. To test its wind resistance, the tent must be properly pitched, taut but not too tight, with all the guy ropes in position around the tent. It should remain habitable at wind speeds of 70km/h, measured near ground level.
Ventilation and condensation prevention
Bedroom with mosquito net sections for ventilation and sections in a water repellent fabric to protect from condensation and draughts. Large vent at front of tent's fly sheet and additional vent at feet end. To reduce condensation inside your tent, it must be properly pitched, with the fabric kept taut without over-stretching. The air vents and good air flow reduce humidity inside your tent.
Sun protection
The flysheet fabric filters UV rays with a UPF of 30. Please note: a large amount of UV rays can pass through an open door. Protect your skin.

Product test
The waterproofing of Quechua tents is tested by placing a pitched tent under a 200 L/m²/hr shower (tropical rain) for 4 hours and checking that no water gets through the seams, flaps, openings, zips, etc. The water column test (= mm schmerbers) measures the waterproof rating of the fabric. Wind resistance: tents are set up in a wind tunnel on a rotating platform to expose each side of the tent to the wind. We also carry out numerous field tests in real-life conditions.

Stockage tips
Storage: after use or cleaning, dry the tent thoroughly before storing to avoid unpleasant odours and mould.

Used for More than 1 year
Used this tent in heavy rain storms, and the performance was faultless.
I did not have to worry about getting wet, and the storage space outside the sleeping area stayed dry too.
Put the tent up in the rain and took it down in heavy rain, got home and dried out no problem. The size is perfect for backpacking, and if you want to move it around you just pick it up and set down where you want without dismantling it.
Highly recommend.
Great 2-person tent for cycling
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
Just completed a 10 day cycle tour through France with this tent. Having read the reviews of this tent I initially opted for the 3-person version based on comments about the interior space but part of me couldn't bear the thought of carrying the extra weight around and so changed it for the 2-person version. It is very snug inside and for larger people this might be a problem but we found the storage in the side porches was good for having two bike panniers, helmet, shoes. Tent feels very stable though have not used in harsh weather yet. The poles are initially challenging to get into the sockets but we found that this got much easier after a couple of nights use. Great tent and a fantastic price.
Good tent for cycle touring
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
I use this tent for solo cycle touring and for one person it is a great sized tent. It is easy and quick to pitch even in adverse weather. In addition to room for me, there is enough room to store all of my belongings and pannier bags inside the tent. The porches are not large but are big enough for shoes etc. The packed size is just right to fit on top of the rear rack of my bike without overhanging the rear wheel. The tent bag is a generous size allowing the tent to fit in easily even if you have not rolled the tent up tightly. I've used this tent in torrential downpours and high winds, both times the tent performed admirably. Once the tent is pitched, if you stuff the tent bag with a fleece and a waterproof, the bag makes a good pillow too!
The best quality just go for it
Used for 1 week or less
The built quality of this product is just awesome, the only concern with online is you get on same price that of store in addition you need to pay for delivery.
Good product
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
Used it for a 2-day trek with my son. Very easy to pitch and easy to take down. Spacious enough for the two of us and our bagpacks. Haven't tested yet in the rain but did it on a windy night and it was fine.
Would definitely recommend it.
Good tent for 1
Used for 3 to 6 months
Using this on a motorbike touring trip. Quality is good, very easy to put up and pack, and a good size and weight when packed. Getting in and out is tricky when it rains -- you'll pretty much always end up with a back full of water -- and there is no space for cooking or such when you need sheltering from the weather.

All in all a good tent for short camping trips.
Great Tent for 1
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
This is the first tent that I have purchased for over 20 years and I am very pleased with it. It is easily pitched by one person (I reckon with a little more practise I could do it in 5 minutes or less). It is also very easy to take down and pack away and fits easily into my backpack.
Inside there would just about be enough room for 2 adults with not too much baggage but it is probably ideal for 1 person plus backpack. I'm 6ft tall and had no problems stretching my legs at night! Recommended for solo travellers.

N.B. I did have a small problem with one of the zips but Decathlon exchanged the tent for a new one in store straight away - great service!
