For over 2 years, our Research & Development teams test different technologies for measuring your heart rate on your wrist. We have chosen to use the latest Philips sensor technology to offer one of the most reliable sensors on the market.
Start without delay: FastFix technology
Thanks to FastFix technology, you will get a satellite signal more quickly on your ONmove 500 GPS watch and will be able to start your activities without delay. View your session on your smartphone
Transfer data from your ONmove 500 GPS watch with Bluetooth Smart technology and view your sessions immediately on your et smartphone* using the myGeonaute connect application (available on iOS and Android). *List of compatible smartphones: compatibilité smartphone
the myGeonaute connect application is compatible with the STRAVA sports social network. Through Strava, you will be able to share your sessions with your friends, follow them and challenge them over routes (segments).Transferring to Strava only works via Bluetooth from your smartphone using the myGeonaute Connect application.
Improve your performance with interval training
It's so easy to plan a complete interval training programme: warm-up time, activity time, rest time and easing off time, number of series of interval runs and rest time between series.
ONmove 500 now has a multisport mode: choose your sport at the start of the session and the information on the screen will be tailored to the chosen activity automatically. Manage your effort and reach your goals thanks to target zones
The target zone will help you to manage your effort better, making it easier to reach your goals. The ONmove 500 allows you to set a target speed, pace or heart rate zone (heart rate optional with the Bluetooth Smart cardio belt). Using this function, your GPS watch will provide a real-time indication of whether or not you are within the programmed working zone. A graphic indicator on the screen, along with a sound signal will inform you when you leave the zone.
Altitude and height gain via GPS
The ONmove 500 measures current altitude and the slopes (ascents and descents) along your route using GPS technology.
Automatic lap time
Thanks to this function, your ONmove 500 will automatically indicate your lap time according to a programmable distance.
Manual lap time
The ONmove 500 GPS watch will allow you to view laps or lap times manually. Each time you press the button, a window will indicate your lap time, as well as the number of laps completed. You will be able to find this information in your decathloncoach.com account (on the map view of your route, as well as in a summary table).
Stopwatch with automatic stop/start function
The stopwatch is paused automatically when you stop and unpaused when you start (function can be activated/deactivated).
Hydration & nutrition alert
It is vital to stay hydrated or take on food during activity to maintain your performance. When you feel thirsty or hungry, your body is often already suffering from some kind of deficit. It is recommended that you drink every 15 minutes and eat every hour. The ONmove 500 has a hydration alarm and a nutrition alarm (which can be configured & deactivated) which will give you a reminder beep and a notification on the screen at the perfect time for a drink or some food.

Export sessions in GPX
