Technical Information

Buckle adjustment
4 very strong micro-metric aluminium hooks. You can adjust the length of the buckle by tightening or untightening the hook. 3-position top buckles to adapt to all calves. Strap on the leg for powerful and simple tightening from the top of the shell.
Wide sizing that is particularly comfortable while also offering good precision. Heel Pad ergonomics on the ankle bone for firmly securing the heel.
What is flex?
To provide an indication of rigidity, brands assign a flex rating to every boot. The rigidity of the boot is identified by a number: the higher the figure, the stiffer the shell. A flex of 60 is considered best for skiers of intermediate to advanced level. A flex level of 65 to 75 is intended for intermediate skiers. Beyond that, the products are suited to advanced skiers. The strong gauges can however increase by a level.
How do you try on ski boots?
Once your foot is in the boot, fasten the buckles to the midpoint. Can you go further? This means the volume of the boot isn't right for you. Once you've fastened your boots, you need to flex 3 times while pushing your calves forward (put your hands on your knees), which will push your heel back into the boot. Stand up: your foot should touch the end of the shell. When you flex, your foot should move backwards so you can no longer feel the end.
How to get your ski boots on/off easily?
Pull the tongue towards the front and outside the feet: That allows you to generously open the shell for easy foot entry.
