Very nice
Lack of basic feature ruins it for me
Used for 1 week or less
First of all, how is it that Decathlon fails to realize that hikers also use hydration bladders?
It really beats me.
Anyway, I wouldn't even mind it if this product fulfilled my needs but there's a very basic feature that Decathlon have missed and that is a removable protective cap on the bite valve to prevent it from rubbing where you wouldn't want it to rub. Since the bite valve goes directly into your mouth, it only makes sense that when not in use, it needs to be kept protected from the elements for hygiene purposes.

Unfortunately, I have to clean the valve every time with external water supply before putting it into the mouth and that beats the entire purpose of the product.
Response of the brand
Hello Akshay,

Thank you for taking the time to give us your review. The Hydration balder does not come with a cap around the bite piece for a very particular reason. A cyclist will not have both hands to open the protective cap on the ride to sip the liquid. We have to consider just one hand that the cyclist will use to sip the water from the Bladder. Also, the hydration bag has an elastic at the shoulder strap to keep the hydration bladder in place.. This will restrict the movement of the mouthpiece. I remain available for more questions.
