Technical Information

Why wear this strap?
Wearing this strap may be recommended if you suffer from epicondylitis (tennis elbow) or medial epicondylitis (golfer's elbow) to help you get back into sport (basketball, football, handball, tennis, badminton, running, trail running, gymnastics, judo). It is easy to put on and tighten, with supple fabric and a shape designed to keep you comfortable.
What is epicondylitis (tennis elbow) and medial epicondylitis (golfer's elbow)?
These two types of tendinitis occur when the tendons in the elbow become inflamed. For tennis elbow it is the tendon on top of the arm and for golfer's elbow it is the one underneath. People doing any sport can be affected (basketball, handball, rugby) but tendinitis is most common among people doing racket sports and golf, generally because they are training heavily, and the injury becomes aggravated by repeated impacts with the ball.

Sticky material is bad

Fastening belt gone in 2 month although the rest of the material is very good but the main part is bad
Reasonable but not long lasting, disappointing !!
Used for 3 to 6 months
Purchased this elbow guard in July and with normal usage, for sports, has already reached a point where it does not hold anymore as it should. The velcro strap cannot seem to get a strong hold on the strap and keeps coming off. I'm left with either wearing it loose or not at all, and both ways are not really helpful or ideal to help prevent/recover from a tennis elbow or the like injuries.

Very disappointed with the product and would not recommend it I'm afraid. For an item that doesn't have to do that much the fact that it has failed so quickly and easily is terrible.

Seemed to work
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
While we were away on holiday in Malaga, I developed an ache on lower inside of my arm. Dr. Google/Yahoo, suggested it might be Golfer's Elbow (I don't, & never have played Golf) the self care also suggested an elbow strap might alleviate the pain, so we looked to find the nearest shop that sold one, thankfully the Decathlon in La Rosaleda Shopping Centre had some in stock, so off we went.

A strap was purchased. Immediately we'd left the shop, it was put on, so was my desire to 'set it to work it's magic'! Pretty much instant relief, for which I was delighted, as that night meant I slept, unlike the previous nights when the pain was so intense it had kept me awake.

My only issue with it is, it's a little wide for the female arm.
