Made for Our Subea design teams have developed a mask to help beginner divers learn the right techniques, such as how to clear a mask! The perfect diving mask for learning to scuba dive with its very flexible skirts and finger supports to help learn the correct techniques.
The frame of the SCD 100 mask (support zone between the window and the skirt) is well clear of the face to better absorb variations in pressure when diving.
The specially designed zones on the frame on the forehead and temples allow divers to position their fingers properly so they can learn how to empty the mask more easily.
The skirt on this mask (flexible part of the mask that is in contact with the face) is made from extremely flexible silicone A silicone skirt moulds gently to the contours of the face, thereby ensuring water-tightness. This supple mask is very comfortable.
Tempered glass lenses
Tempered glass is two to five times more durable than traditional glass. When it breaks, it breaks into small pieces which prevents major accidents.
It has the advantage of better scratch resistance compared to a polycarbonate lens.
Micrometric buckles together with the notched strap on either side of the mask allow easy adjustment of the mask, even when wearing gloves.
