Amazing design - very poor quality
Used for 3 to 6 months
I was looking for shorts which can carry small 200 ml water bottle in pockets and my BIG smart phone. This runnings shorts has a perfect design and you wont need any running belt or pouch, can easily carry all the stuff you need for up to 10-15K distance.

BUT the quality of material is somewhat POOR and it lasted only 3-4 months with 2-3 times a week running around 5-7KMs.

The mesh material underneath is coming apart and there are multiple holes which cant be fixed.

Little disappointed, I wish it would have lasted little longer.

Great shorts - plenty of pockets
Used for 3 to 6 months
Great shorts, lightweight, plenty of pockets. I'm able to get in a keys, phone, ipod, arm warmers & a light jacket. Even with all of this clutter you don't feel tied down. They also allow you to just get away with simple vest or t-shirt, and not have to worry about additional pockets.
I liked them so much I bought a second pair.
Good

But My tell you is not good
Comfortable, fresh, practical
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
Pros: comfy, several pockets, inner "briefs", correct sizing, looks good once you put them all, good price for the quality, fresh and nice feeling

Cons: none so far. I use them for 10-12 km runs and I couldn't be happier. Wouldn't use them for temps lower than 6C though
Love them - Value for Money
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
I have been using other basic Kalenji shorts for years now and loved them. For a recent city marathon, I wanted to run hands free and wanted to avoid a separate waist pouch. A friend suggested these shorts. I am glad i picked them up. I was able to fit 5 gels, my phone, car key and some dry fruits into them comfortably. The load is distributed evenly around the waist and worked perfectly for me. No chaffing. Worth a try folks, go for it.
Fall down a lot

The pockets are great but these shorts don’t stay up. I’ve ran 1/2 marathons in them and constantly been pulling them up. The lining and outer shorts form a bit of a tube that is very slippy. The cheaper version has fewer pocket but are my favourite shorts. I think these need some extra stitching in the waistline.
Love these shorts.
Used for 3 to 6 months
i really rate these shorts. great in this hot weather. however the best bit about them is they have loads of pockets. the front has a net pocket that is great for keeping your phone in and a zipped pocket inside the net too where you can stash so money or bank card. the rear also has a zip pocket and there is a mesh pouch inside the zip too. i would have preferred the rear to match the front pocket. i always have my phone in the front pocket so its easy to slip out and take a pic while running. it has an internal briefs inside to keep your bits in place. i've had no chaffing with these myself. all in all i rate them and bought a second pair. chnages? i'd move the zip toggle further over to the side so it completely misses my phone when it in the mesh pocket (its not been scratched so far though but i do worry a bit). Also i'd have the back pocket the same as the front.
Amazing !
