Made for Our passionate Mountain Trekking team has developed these clever trousers to enable you to adapt to changes in weather. Trousers or shorts... why choose? These trousers can be turned into shorts and enable you to face all situations!
For the main fabric, we decided to use a more environmentally friendly dyeing process
Fabric dyeing uses a lot of water and also produces waste water from the dyeing baths. To reduce the environmental impact, we chose a dope dyeing process that integrates colour pigments during the yarn manufacturing.
We reduce CO2 emissions by 30% compared to the former model.
To guarantee unfailing durability, on the knees and buttocks, we use light fabric -150 g/sqm) that is very durable, made from 200 denier polyamide yarn (on the warp) and 320 deniers (on the weft). Indestructable!!
Water repellent properties info
These trousers have water repellent inserts (knees, buttocks) that enable the water to slide off the surface of the fabric. Please note, this does not mean WATERPROOF.
The water repellent property prevents the trousers from getting wet too fast but will not keep you dry under steady rain. For this, we recommend that you wear over-trousers such as the Trek 500 (ref. 8493660).
Water repellence can be reactivated by tumble drying the trousers for 10 min on low temperature.
To make it easy to identify the bottom of the legs, we have used a red zip pull on the right leg and grey on the left. You will not mix them up!!
Partially elasticated ankles to better fit your trekking shoes!
Sports cut that offers good freedom of movement.
78.9 cm trousers inside leg in size 36 (L)
24 cm shorts inside leg in size 36 (L)
We recommend that you always wash the trousers with the bottom of the legs zips to ensure that the colour washes out evenly!
These trousers have been tested and validated in the field in real conditions. It was worn for 5 weeks in spring 2019 by several people who went trekking in the Canary Islands for 2 weeks, followed by 3 weeks on the GR10 route in the Pyrenees.
