taking your child along on a kick scooter.
The child carrier makes it possible to ride together so you'll have twice as much fun!
Very handy and strong.
My 4yo loves stepping on it & riding with me. Very impressed with the idea & creation of this carrier. :-)
Sturdy & does its function well
I bought this to take my daughter on the town 7 scooter with myself Its a brill idea but after around 135 cm in height not suitable for a child taller.its easy to assemble . However the method of fixing ot to the scooter is poor. Its done with heavy duty hook and loop tape at first i thought fab but on removal of the plate 12 hrs after sticking ..the bottom fixings come off too. As the plate is supposed to be removed as needed .this is not good
Sturday easy to assamble
Could cause a trip when on scooter
Bought this with Oxelo (Town 9) to take my 3.5 year old to pre-school. My daughter LOVES riding on this. She can barely stop jabbering and singing the mile or so to nursery. It has cut commute times and costs and makes traveling loads of fun.
Installation is a bit of work as you need to cut out part of the scooter foot pad. You need to be careful placing it so that scooter can still shut properly. It is only designed for the Oxelo as well. The video on Decathlon is helpful. It isn't removable either .
perfect for kids, efficient design, good value,
Not removable, Only works with Oxelo scooter
Overall, I love the idea and design of the platform. I got an oxelo (Town 9) specifically to have the platform for taking my 4 year old to school which is 2 miles away - didn't want to pay for bus/tube fare 4 times/day! I've never come across anything similar. We've ridden it together and he loves it. It feels very secure and stable. I will need to post a video of us riding together. It was easy to install except it took me a long time to get the adhesive off the scooter. I definitely have other parents doing a double take. A bike would be much faster, but at least this way I don't have to on the roads with my child, making me feel safer.
Cons: It cannot be detached - so if you're riding solo you have to make sure you don't scrape the top of your feet. accidentally. I first rode without it and after the platform in place, I did feel it was a little claustrophobic (lol). But after some practice you know where to place your feet.
Design blends seamlessly, sturdy
Have scraped top of my foot when inattentive
