occasional canoe and kayak cruising, for 1 or 2 persons, in calm waters (less than 300 m from land - France)
An inflatable kayak with 2 raised adult seats for great paddling comfort. Stable and reassuring.
Brilliant kayak, rally fun I use mine down the river Avon, at parts the water is very shallow that the kayak copes with it well, i take one of my children in it with me, and even with them moving and fidgeting the kayak is really stable but one of my seams burst, once i took it back they could only give me a refund due to having none in stock, so i have reordered through online defiantly would recommend this
FUN! and easy
Instructions are vague
On inflation a small split appeared on one of the seams to the hull. We checked for foreign objects or tears in the outer skins, none were present so put split down to poor manufacture. Worse still holes in the inflatable are NOT repairable regardless of what the manufacturers literature states. We followed all instructions to the letter but the product was not fixable using the kit supplied or usable there after. We considered buying an inflatable boat repair kit for approx £30 but reconsidered instead opting to return the product as we feel it doesn't perform as sold.
We brought this product after about two weeks of research on inflatable Kyaks, we visited our local Decathlon store twice to talk with staff & get a feel of the products available. We opted for the ITIWIT2 as we were told it had greater external protection, inflatable sections were robust but came with a repair kit, it was easy to set up and would be good on the sea as well as lakes making it perfect for our summer holiday. Wish we hadn't bothered - waste of money and time.
Colour, Boston valves
Inflatables, repair kit, not fit for purpose
Thank you for your feedback about our product. We are really sorry that you had such a bad experience with this model. It looks like there was some individual manufacture default. The ITIWIT 2 model (improved 2016 one) has been our 3rd best seller this season and we didn't have any issues so far. Please return this kayak to your local store or use the online process for full refund. Unfortunately there is no more stock of this model in our warehouse and we are waiting for the future delivery. There will be another improvements done on the 2017 version of this kayak. The level of black colour bottom will be raised up to give better security for inflated parts.
Apologies once again.

It is easy to inflate once you find the instructions printed on the inside of one side. The seats are inflated which brings you higher in the craft and they have adjustable backs to help with support. There are handy Velcro strips to hold the paddles secure if you wanted to take one as a spare.
Easy to construct and put away
had to buy paddles separately.
The itiwit2 is very sturdy on both river and sea. However had a seam split in the floor insert, gave the store in Poole a ring and they couldn't have been more helpful! Excellent after sales. Problem solved.
I bought my Itiwit 2 seater Kayak in Decathlon in France (Campus in Villeneuve d'ascq), with the objective to go round the harbour while holidaying at my parents in-law in Portknockie (AB56 2NR).
The inflatable floor clearly has an issue of solidity as after the first outing (on a very calm sea), a crack has appeared on the seams. I have tried to repair it, but because air is still leaking. It seems to me that the seams are clearly at fault, it is a shme as the product is otherwise easy to use. Any delvery of the inflatable floor (ref 8339483) in express mode?
Transportable and easy to set up

Bought this as a present and he was very happy with it. Good stability, seems very good for a beginner.
Only negative found so far is the carry/storage bag - it is very flimsily made and the plastic zip broke fist time we tried to put the kayak back in (when dry). I would have expected the bag and zip to be sturdier - considering the quality of the actual kayak.
Flimsy carry/storage bag
Having Purchased the Itiwit 2, then read the reviews, I note that Decathlon accept that certain models do in fact leak badly and offer to replace.
Having bought mine in the Decathlon store in Antalya Turkey, I am advised that this model is being discontinued and no replacements are available.
What should I do? The fault is definitely at the floor wall joint where a porous fabric tape has been used, and despite treating this with a marine waterproofing spray copious amounts of water still enter.
This would probably be cured with a rubber tape.
Will Decathlon offer to have this fault remedied at their expense?
Thanks for your message, and apologies for the issues with the kayak. You are indeed correct, we have had issues with some boats over the last 6 months, with water gradually making its way through the seams of the kayak. As such we can replace the product for you (it doesn't matter where you bought it). Please could you return the boat to your nearest store or via the online process for the exchange.
Sorry for the inconvenience,

Generally a good kayak as a first time user.
Problem is that after about an hour in the sea the kayak becomes heavy, and on beaching at a halfway point, about 5 litres of water needs to be discharged via the drain plug to restore maneuverabillity.
Whilst no water is visible within the kayak, this seems to pool below the floor, and appears to be saturating the outer fabric which in turn drains around the inner tubes and into the floor space.
Even after draining the cock at the end of the day the fabric retains moisture and adds considerably (possible up to 5 Kg) to the carry weight back to the car.
I plan to treat this with a moisture repellent spray to see if this improves the situation, but would suggest that Tribord need to look closely at this strong fabric with a view to overcoming this problem. After all it is not the cheapest inflatable kayak on the market, and I would have expected more care to have been taken in the choice of materials and water resistance.
I would recommend this to others, but with reservations
Easy to inflate and deflate, good stability
Outer cover absorbs water and becomes heavy
