SNORKELING
SNORKELS
Our range of snorkels is perfect for shallow diving, boasting a hydrodynamic design and fitted with an adjustable rubber head bracket to ensure a secure fit. The head bracket will also give you the stability you need to swim against the water pressure with your headgear staying in place.
Our snorkels are sized to give you maximum comfort, with a tube large enough to enable deep breaths without straining and long enough for you to dive a reasonable distance underwater. These will also fit comfortably in your mouth and with the variety of features we offer, stay functional and comfortable even after hours of diving.
For the go-to option, consider the J-curve snorkel, a snorkel featuring a served tube fitted with a mouthpiece and a traditional open-top — considered one of the most popular types of snorkel in the world of swimming. You can find our range comes with flexible clips for easy attachment and vibrant colours so your friends can spot you easily, even when underwater.
OPEN OR FULL FOOT FINS? THE DECISION IS YOURS
Snorkelling fins are excellent for snorkelling in swimming pools or the ocean. Many snorkelers enjoy the flexibility that full foot snorkelling fins offer. Although snorkelers can (and do) wear open foot fins, this is a personal choice, for most people full foot fins are fine for the first time snorkelling, for example on holiday or when learning to snorkel.
Another way to spot these kind of fins is that they're often a little shorter in length than other kinds of fins. This is because divers who go deeper and carry more equipment on their backs require extra fin length to move more easily underwater. With sizes and designs available for men, women and children, Decathlon can provide you with some top snorkelling fins. We also stock snorkels and masks in our Snorkelling department.
Snorkelling is a great way to explore the underwater world, marvel at seagrass meadows and lagoons and even encounter incredible marine life — without worrying about running out of breath. Best of all, it’s easy to get set up; all you need is a snorkel mask for vision and a snorkel for breathing. Going to stop by the pool instead? Browse our range of swimming goggles and ear plugs and nose clips for swimming for the pool-friendly alternative.
If you’re looking for ways to help you move underwater, check out our range of adult swimming training aids to add a little extra mobility.
