My kid used JDBug before without suspension.
This one is equally sturdy and provides better ride with better tires and well put together suspensions.
Specially useful for Adventure feel to get joy from boring routine trip, easy n compact to carry in car
Feel of Drive excellent
Just price little high but it's reward more than p
It is an excellent fun product. But using it to commute in Bangalore is not practical. It is great as long as the roads are smooth without potholes and debris/stones. But that is not the case in Bangalore.
I had considered this product to commute from my house to the metro. But the if the roads are not smooth, it cannot be used. Also, with the shock-absorbers, the ground clearance is reduced. Hence, the underbody scrapes when you have to pass a small hump or pothole.
The brakes are by pressing the cover over the rear wheel. It would have been great if there were brakes levers on the handlebar. Guess that would have brought up the cost.
Recommended as a fund product, not for everyday commute.
Smooth, Easy to fold and carry
No brake on handlebar, Underbody scrapes easily
I love this Scooter. I have used mine for 23 months and bring it with me on the train as I have to travel between cities for work. A lot easier to carry than my foldable bike. I often do very long rides of 23 to 30 km on it. The longest trip I've done was 62 km. I do get pain in my left knee sometimes, but it goes away after a couple of days using an Aptonia knee compression thingy and a good massage.
Just bought the new model with the hand brake and comfy rubber deck tape and stand. Haven't tried it yet as I feel I am cheating on my old one.
Scooter is a good size, goes well but feels like it's about to break. It sounds very creaky and not sure how long it will last. Contacted Decathlon about this and they asked me if there are problems to take my bike into a store. I was like eh?! All I wanted to know was If the creaking was normal. Hopefully it'll last but not sure. Coupled with the customer service it's a 2* from me
Just taken out my new scooter for a spin. Took me right back to my childhood. really really enjoyed it and are looking forward to taking it in the car everywhere I go. So smooth and fast. Travelled distances so much quicker. Being 66 but feeling 5 at the moment.
Brought Town 7 XL two months. Both front suspension and its rear wheel shock absorber are good working. I'm 1.78m tall with 84 Kg and wear shoes of 43 us. The scooter could fully sustain my weight and size. If the weight to lower to 4.5 kg with 200 mm wheel, then its superb. Town 9 EF is too big for me and I's am of its size and weight, although it is more stable by putting on two foot.
The prices for some products
I brought reluctantly as with bike i'm against suspension in bikes, but so glad I did. On pavements it really is necessary, and on flats you don't loose much. Very tough, I am 6'1 man around 83kg, I go hard, down rough pavements at speed. Long base is comfortable for adult feet, but like most scooters can be dangerous going off kerbs.
Also have the kid attachment so my son loves it and my daughter has her own oxelo scooter. Highly recommended.
Suspension, larger wheels
lowering / raising / folding the handle bars
When i ride the scooter every 5 mins the handle pole slides down
