₹ 499 Décathlon
I purchased this bottle in replacement of my service canteen, for everyday general use and the occasional hiking. There are two things that are to be taken note of, the first is its relatively thin shell, while durable on its own, the added mass of water reduces the durability and it can puncture by a drop when full. The other which I consider, to be a deal breaker is it's plastic cap mechanism, it is flimsy and it reduces the utility in the sense that it cannot be used to hang the bottle over fire. There are other products in the market which offer the same dimensions and a steel cap, but the compelling reason I purchased this, is that it's interiors seem to be electroplated and Quechua so far has not deviated from health and safety standards. If this review can be escalated, I would stress that the plastic cap is what is holding this quality product back, and I implore that it be rectified, preferably with a steel/metallic replacement.

Good to use. Light weight.

Can i use this bottle for hot water?
Bottle shaped i liked
You could technically fill hot water in this bottle although it would not be able to retain the temperature as compared to a thermal flask.
Here are some flasks you could consider: http://www.decathlon.in/hiking/bottles-and-cutlery/thermal-flasks

All in all a pretty good product, for hiking I fitted a carabiner to attach to my rucksack. However once I dropped my bottle on a rock which dented it rather severely.
The sturdy nature
Dents easily, awkward to fit in a bottle cage.
