i searched for the perfect volume. Searched for perfect colour . Searched for perfect design and finally got the one backpack which my trek mates suggested me on very first place and that is this one . Value for money perfect look and full fill all the promises .
This is hell of a heavy duty bag. It was fully loaded with innumerable things during my trip for 7days. It tolerated rough handling, jerking and associated mechanical shocks one experience during a travel in extremely crowded place.
I love this bag, because It is so scientifically well balanced that even a 25 kg at the back didn’t feel that way. Walking running sitting, taking sudden turns felt so effortless. Unbelievably well balanced bag. Becomes integral part of your body.
Offsides: 1. no locking system, main vault is easily accessible by anyone . Locking systems comes in higher priced models.
Important: If you are taller than 5'5'', go for 60 litre backpacks. for visiting places for 7 days where you want to keep more shirts, pants associated with warm clothings, you will definitely run out of space. During winter travelling with jackets/warm clothings will definitely be a concern for this volume. Go for 60 litre if you are that tall as I mentioned.
Already recommended 2 Trekking partners. They will purchase it soon before next trek.
Used for 2 major treks in dhauladhars. Jalsu Pass Trek (3500 meters) and Indrahar Pass (4342 meters). Very impressive.
Overall really good backpack with nice features like front opening and used clothes separator inside.
I just bought it before 2 weeks and used it for 4 days trek from Kodai to Munnar in South india. (I also bought v.good teenz 40L backpack for my teenage daughter along with lots of other great stuff..).
Quality of the sack is real good...sturdy material and many pockets..
But for me I am not fully satisfied mainly for following reason:
Weight: I wish I have lighter backpack instead of this one.
I could not enjoy my trek fully due to this issue...
Can Decathlon Help Me...and Exchange my backpack?
I will be glad and delighted if it can be done. Please.
Good product. Fairly prices.
Comfortable to put on
This backpack met my expectations , it was light, contains an internal aluminium frame, pockets placed nicely
Light, nice aluminium frame, nice pockets
It does not have hydration hole
Additionally I will request the design team to explore the possibility to incorporate another pocket inside to accommodate a few small things which will help better while walking or hiking
The lumber support system is very comfortable
Should have a rain cover
We appreciate your feedback on the Forclaz 50 Hiking Backpack. This range of backpack is being redesigned and I will pass on your suggestion to the product designer.

I've always had trust in the brand.
But with this one stitches stated coming out in a two day trek.
Got a replacement, but that too was defective :(
everything, sheer disappointment
I bought this bag for my personal use as I frequently go on trips to mountains. I needed a bag that could hold all my luggage as well as camera equipment as I am a budding travel photographer. After researching in the market, I bought this bag and I am really satisfied with the product. The capacity and accessibility is quite good. I was able to fit clothes for five day trip and shoes and toiletries and camera and tripod. It still had some space remaining. What I specifically loved about Quechua bags is that you are able to fit every single strap according to your body. It provides great back support and shoulders feel light as all the weight is balanced on your hips.
Large Capacity, accessibilty, good build quality
None so far
