Technical Information

1
How to pack a backpack?
Put your bedding at the bottom. Carry heavy gear (tent, stove, food) closest to your back. Pack your clothes around these items. The groundsheet can be placed under the flap, the tent goes under the bag if it doesn't fit inside. Keep your waterproof jacket and fleece to hand. In the pockets, spread out the small equipment you use during the day (sun cream, map, sunglasses, etc). If carrying a hydration pack (water bladder), this should be placed in its special pocket along the back.
2
Adjusting your backpack height?
Place the adjustment system at the height that you think is correct and adjust the backpack (see. "Adjusting your backpack"). With the belt on your pelvis, put the straps around the front part of your shoulders and the load adjuster straps (which are sometimes also height-adjustable) at an angle of around 45° (they should never be horizontal or vertical). When trying it on, if the back seems too short or too long, readjust and try again until you are satisfied.
3
How to adjust your backpack?
FIRST, LOOSEN all the straps (shoulder straps, belt, load adjuster straps). PUT THE BAG ON. For backpacks with a capacity of 50 L or more, PLACE THE HIP BELT CORRECTLY (it should sit over the pelvis) and TIGHTEN IT. For smaller backpacks, the hip belt should be placed around the waist. TIGHTEN THE SHOULDER STRAPS. Finally, ADJUST THE LOAD ADJUSTER STRAPS as needed.

Environmental measurements
Decathlon has decided to inform you of the environmental impact of its hiking backpacks over their entire lifespan. This work follows an experiment that began in July 2011 with the French Ministry of Ecology. The scores ranging from A to E were awarded based on a comparison between Quechua backpacks only. Details on this project and the calculation methods used are available at http://www.oxylane.com/20/demarche-environnementale
5
How is backpack volume measured?
The volume of each backpack is measured using a standardised method: we fill the main compartment as well as each pocket with little balls. We then empty the balls into a graduated container to measure the equivalent volume in litres within a few percentage points. The net weight is that of our reference sample. There may be slight variations.

Stockage tips
Store your bag in a dry place.

Maintenance tips
To ensure the fabrics retain their initial properties (waterproofing in particular), you are advised not to machine wash, tumble dry, dry clean or bleach your backpack. Do not iron. To clean your backpack by hand, you are advised to use warm soapy water and a brush if necessary. After a few years of use, you can refresh the water-repellent properties of the fabric using a waterproofing spray.

Nice looking and reliable

The item looks great and has proven to be reliable.
No flaws or failures.
A real eyecatcher.

Good
Does what it says it will do
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
Product is exactly as mentioned.
But I felt that it could have been improved in 2 aspects:
1. Addition of a zip closure instead of a drawstring. I know it helps in compression, but a more secure option or alternative can also be provided for those that need that extra bit.
2. The inside compartment separator is fragile and could tear easily on heavy loads.
Strong & enough storage
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
Good material, strong, enough storage space for 5 to 10 day trip.
Awesome product and service
The product is just too good. One can rely on it completely. The compartments are just there where you need it. The quality is also beyond expectations.
I got it within 3 days of the purchase.
You get what you pay for
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
This product is fine for what I paid for it. It’s no way as robust as a high end bergan but for 40 quid it does the job.
A canoe liner will be required in case of a down pour as this is definitely not going to keep your kit dry.
Another worry is the outer zip which seems flimsy and could burst open with a heavy load
Best Bag ever
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
This Bag is value for money. And I'm very happy with this Bag. Thanks Decathlon.
It's not bad of a bag
Recieved my bag 3 days after i ordered, it came in a huge box the size of mini fridge lol . Pretty decent bag, spacious ..and love it has many opening the only thing that im not excited about is the color not as vibrant as in the picture a bit dull ..doesnt give me the vibes. Quality of the fabric is quite thin too.
