It is really innovative as water sports is less popular in my country. This will really inspire all. Many thanks!!!
easiest to use.. even beginners who dont know swimming can use this easily because in old snorkelling kits breathing only by mouth is difficult for beginners..
but with this full face mask.. view is full 180 degree, breathing is easiest it could be underwater. very comfortable to use. i think eventually all old snorkelling kits will be replaced by this mask.
The snorkelling mask is an excellent product. Unlike traditional masks, it lets you breathe through your nose (however, the breathing would be heavy). This enables you to snorkel for hours rather than taking a break every now and then. The visibility is also excellent and gives you a panoramic view of the ocean/sea. A highly recommended product for serious snorkelers. I used this product extensively during my vacation @ Krabi - extremely satisfied! :-)
As it's name suggests, it's 100% user friendly children and adults alike. No more clasping the pipe in our mouth. Breathe normally, thro nose or mouth, choice is yours.
Alround visibility and easy to use.
The Mask is a must buy and I am going to buy 3 more for the entire family. The quality is excellent and the build is great. Even if you have to buy for one holiday then you must buy this.
I used it in Maldives and had no experience of Snorkeling and yet I could snorkel with no difficulty.
Dont hesitate in spending money on this one
Its fabulously easy to breathe under water
Limited Choices of Sizes and Colors in comparision
I am not confident of taking this in for long distance snorkelling. For 2 reasons:-
1. I struggle to breath after 10 minutes(with a regular snorkel I can keep swimming for 20-30 minutes straight.
2. At some point water starts seeping inside.
Clarity of vision
Difficult to breath.
My husband and I bought a mask each for our holiday in Egypt last November. We had both used the old snorkel and mask for years but my husband was finding them difficult at times. The whole face mask is fantastic, easy to use with more visual scope. On our latest holiday our sister, who is petrified of the water and cannot swim, agreed to have a go in the swimming pool. She found it reassuring that she could breathe easy and gave her confidence to eventually swim several widths. We cannot fault this mask at all, it’s brilliant!
Loved it ... but I need to practise . I do not look glamorous . Better than ordinary mask . I also used it in swimming pool to achieve 40 lengths of breast stroke and no strain on my neck
Purchased one of these for myself and love it, does not leak ,easy to use, very comfortable with great vison. Then we purchased another for our daughter she loves it and had the best snorkeling experience she has ever had. She is 11. No trouble using it. We could talk to each other as well underwater if we were close together.
Now I've had chance to use it time for a review....
Lets get the negatives out of the way first....the way it looks and this is only because its different to the more traditional style and until people get use to it becoming the norm they stare a bit.
Everything else is positive, I like you read the reviews but wasn't 100% sure but the first time i put my face in the water i was impressed...this was used in the 28C waters off of Cyprus and a test form a more tropical location next year...if it failed to impress the more traditional style would be going next year...but this will be coming.
Firstly so comfortable, no rubbers straps pulling at your hair as they are fabric and no snorkel to bite down on giving you jaw ache after a while. It is really comfortable on your face, just breath as normal you can even talk with your face underwater, visibility is great although if using the optional action camera mount with a standard camera in a floaty it does slightly restrict your forward vision. You can surface dive to, i didn't find it uncomfortable at all at the 3.5m i went to (average depth of the bay i was in) the only issue is there is more air than a normal mask hence its a bit more buoyant and takes a little more effort to stay down, due to the design of the mask you cant pinch your nose to equalise ear pressure but i could never do it anyway with a normal mask. The snorkel part NEVER let any water in, swimming under water normally or upside down nothing not a drop!
The mask is not quite neutral buoyant when FULL of water so slowly sinks if you take it off and put it in the water...if you trap a bit of air in the orange part of the snorkel it will float and if you have a gopro with a floaty on it definitely float.
So for someone who got on with the traditional style i loved this...the comfort AND you don't mind passing it round to friends because you don't have to share something that goes it your mouth.
